Guest Lisacat
Looks like there will be some music for the early arrivers! Noticed that Cabinet, which is a great bluegrass band local to my area will be playing that night. I am ashamed to say I still haven't gotten out to see them-only have heard recordings off the archive- but they're really good. Looking forward to finally seeing them live! http://www.archive.o...oeps.sbd.flac16
Dancer'sChoice
We saw them last year at the Bear's Picnic festival, and we got to see them last week in a small brewpub not too far from our house. They are fantastic. They played a really rousing "Cripple Creek" which was a real showstopper and also a beautiful, "Midnight, Moonlight" which was dedicated to a young girl that was there. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted April 2, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 2, 2010 That'll be a good way to kick it all off...and maybe a few folks will sit in and help get a real hootenanny going. Or like that. Drum circles. Tiki torches. Jam band music. I'm in.
