subcooler
I suspect there will be little difference in Furthur's sound as I really don't think Jay added a lot to the music. I could always hear Joe and what he was laying down, but really had to strain to hear anything Jay did (other than constantly bash a cymbal with a tambourine and that got really old). I'm also on the team that is in favor of a 2nd kit drummer for Furthur - I think the added punch would make a big difference in the overall sound. Scott, I agree with you about the 2nd kit drummer-They definatley should add another drummer before the tour hits the road! Any plans to head north this summer......In search of the sound? It would be nice to catch a show together if possible(The seperate seating arrangement last time in NJ prevented me from a proper goodbye) ! Best wishes to you & your Family, Rob
Forum MVP lookyloo Posted April 6, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted April 6, 2010 Fire on the Mountain was not meant to be rapped.... Keep Mickey off the mic, as well as Phil... Risin' up, back on the street Did my time, took my chances Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet Just a man and his will to survive So many times, it happens too fast You change your passion for glory Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past You must fight just to keep them alive Chorus: It's the eye of the tiger, it's the cream of the fight Risin' up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the tiger Face to face, out in the heat Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry They stack the odds 'til we take to the street For we kill with the skill to survive chorus Risin' up, straight to the top Have the guts, got the glory Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop Just a man and his will to survive chorus The eye of the tiger (repeats out)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cf45I1ZI__w
