Dancer'sChoice
They were a lot of fun. Jorma always surprises me with the breadth of his abilities. I'd never seen Bromberg previously, but what a talent.

Guest Lisacat
went to the show on Friday at Saratoga Springs...I couldn't believe how packed the place was...when I saw them at Mexicali in December there were probably only about 150 people there. Its probably the same size as Mexicali Blues and the crowd was thick. I don't really remember all the songs but there was definitely a Lonesone and Long Way from home, Senor, Midnight Moonlight, Sisters and Brothers, How Sweet it Is, Lets Spend the Night together, After Midnight...Thats all I can really think of. It was a great time! I had a hard time getting into the music though because the crowd sucked and was really distracting but looking forward to the shows this weekend! BTW- listening to the show that Stu played at the Boom Boom Room a couple weeks ago with his Front Street Band...sounding good- not a big fan of the drummer's sound but that will all be remedied when he's with DSO....very strong cryptical>morning dew

You want to talk about a place being over packed. Stu sounded good, but I won't be able to tell how good until he has a band with the chops of DSO behind him. BTW, I will see you guys at the peak. Peace, Rob Just got back...wow. I'm listening to the recordings as I type...both are SBDs and Friday sounds muffled and punchy for some reason. Saturday's sounds very listenable...I'll work on editing it today and have an archive link up shortly. The whole weekend was amazing. Vince Herman sat in on a few songs Friday night and Melvin Seals played keys for The Schwag all weekend. I'll give a more thorough review when I have more time...and the link for you to judge for yourselves of course. The Schwag never cease to amaze me. Stu/Melvin/JGB are back at Schwagstock in July too!!!!!!!!
