Guest squirrely J
5 hours of musical mellifluousness including extended jams on Playin, Good Lovin and a Joan Baez fueled Baby Blue. The band played with phenomenal energy and everyone sounded beautiful. What a show!
greyhead
A Marathon. Started at 7:40 quit at 12:43. Opened the 2nd set with a 20 minute Good Loving. Was exhausted by the end of the nite. Koritz said he could of done 6 hours. If you haven't seen a Jeff show, find a way, he's converting everyone!! hopittome
This was my second DSO concert--I first saw them at a fantastic show in Hackettstown, NJ over the summer (had some pretty favorable reviews on this site!). By the time the concert started, I was actually a bit disappointed that the place was only half-full or so. Of course, they didn't really care and the DSO rocked the shit out of the Barrymore! I've seen many, many concerts in my lifetime, but this was arguably the best concert I've ever seen--5 hours of absolutely incredible music. I was on my feet the entire time, and it was definitely worth every minute! The fillers--Hard to Handle and Baby Blue (Dylan) were both awesome. I can't wait until they come around to Madison again--I'll definitely be sure to see them!
