Forum MVP arm Posted February 2, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 Tsk. Tsk. The early Esau's (circa '83) when they played it for 6-7 mins (rather than the 4 min versions towards the end of its run) were very nice, usually beginning with a Little Feat sounding drum/bass intro that set a funky little tone that later they got away from in this undeveloped mid-80s gem. Try Rochester 4-15-83. They also started playing it at a faster tempo which started to strip it of its groove. Laguna 5-9-87. Give me St. Paul 6-25-83...and a piece of moral land! Forum MVP Dstone5553 Posted February 2, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 True story---I once had a dream where I actually saw Esau selling real-estate while on roller skates in LA. Didn't know it in the dream (I was in venice people watching with a friend), but I figured it out when I woke up. One of the strangest moments, realizing that.
