Guest eyesofvermont
I'll re-post this as we get closer to show time, but for now, please be advised: To any and all attending the Furthur show at Barton Hall on Valentine's Day please keep these regulations in mind: 1) There will be NO VENDING OF ANY KIND ALLOWED outside Barton Hall or in the nearby parking garage. There will be Cornell University Police as well as City of Ithaca Police strictly enforcing this policy. Please do not bring any merchandise, tents, or any other such materials. 2) There is NO SMOKING OR LOITERING in the parking garage. The police will also be enforcing this policy. 3) Food, drinks, and smoking are PROHIBITED in Barton Hall. Food and drink will be confiscated at the door, and bags will be searched. There will be a STRONG police presence in the venue during the show. Attendees visibly intoxicated at the door may be asked to leave. Remember, this is not a regular show. This is a college campus and an entirely student-run event. No one wants a bad scene to develop, so please follow these rules, especially no vending, and share them with others. Thank you. Forum MVP John A Posted January 29, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted January 29, 2010 Even worse, the place is horribly suited as a music venue....so given the unlikely nature of the Grateful Dead, all ducks are in line for an epic performance! diggerlit
I heard a rumor that they're going to recreate DSO's 5.8.07 performance.
Forum MVP chuckvegas Posted January 29, 2010 Forum MVP Report Share Posted January 29, 2010 I was at the 5-8-07 recreation and the modest 5-8-77 original. Don't think I'll make this one. Sounds a little too anything-goes for me...but if they recreate 5-19-07 I'll be bummed.
