  1. All I have to say is “thank you.”
  2. It’s an elective in the style of “JWoww and the Situation Go to the Fillmore.”
  3. We make snow angels when there is half an inch and towering snow men once it hits an inch. And it is sunny today so the Strip traffic is flowing nicely and the pool parties are in full swing. Show is on for tomorrow night!
  4. Las Vegas’ own winter wonderland last night. Be careful out there!
  5. That Ram's Head forum family dance party was a memorable evening! Coming hard on the heels of JK's departure the band gave us what we needed. If it wasn't the breakout of "Cold Jordan" it was mighty close. That was some sacred material. And the Fox Theater '06 with the triumphant Terrapin Nation set and the two huge DSO elective sets was quite the night. It may be time for them to start considering recreating electives.
  6. Spirit is something that no one destroys.
  7. Well, we were children once playing with toys.
  8. “I also realized I knew almost no lyrics from low spark.” Given how much Tea and I bandy them about, with backup from Huck and others, how is that possible? But don’t worry too much, it’ll happen to you.

It does have a lower level PZ reject infestation double-reverse troll vibe. New covens of them can have an amusement value but never last long.

Never again will I doubt how utterly bad ass the Phish and PZ scenes are.

I can understand not caring for WSP all that much but puking when you hear them seems like a really adverse reaction.

I always appreciate an informed, and informative, discussion of the distinction between man-made versus God-given pharmacopeia. All of this reminds me of the wit and wisdom of Yogi Berra: deja vu all over again. Thankfully there are those who step up to the plate and master by any means necessary. This is another reason I have spent my show-seeing career in the back. And there usually was more room for my ergot-induced St Vitus dance. The front row was a bit more aggro.

    God damn - now that’s a Fire!
  16. This is an interesting article that shows the capricious nature of wildfires. https://www.chicoer.com/2018/11/09/camp-fire-devastates-paradise/ The Taco Bell and Paradise Performing Arts Center are still standing.

    Lowell

A Lowell for those of us who won't be in Mass...
  18. President "Bobby": Mr. Gardner, do you agree with Ben, or do you think that we can stimulate growth through temporary incentives? [Long pause] Chance the Gardener: As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden. President "Bobby": In the garden. Chance the Gardener: Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again.
  19. The way we were...I love you, Delilah Jones!
  20. Yes! A true classic, and not to be confused with Bakshi’s equally wonderful Heavy Traffic!
  21. Yes, those are a reason to study history. The more you learn, the more you know!
  22. Yep, seen DSO there inside and outside. I can only imagine the frenzy on the shore when he played there. Rock in a sauna, the way it was meant to be!
  23. He is Jersey’s favorite son. And a lot cooler than jug handles. But if you give them a chance you can come to love both. And how can you not love Key West Intermezzo!
