  1. All these suggestions are perfectly well and good. Inspired, even. But I am going to alter the premise just a tad. Here is one I would like to see DSO cover. I think they have someone who can absolutely nail the lead vocal:
  2. Buddy, I do remember that discussion! Don’t remember the venue either but it was when we all got out more! I think once all of this is a bit behind us that will be the trip of a lifetime! And I heard it can be life changing too!
  3. I'm mighty happy for you all, brother! I'd love to join you there but flights, COVIDS, quarantines, rules and regulations ("Ihre Papiere bitte") are putting up resistance. One day...
  4. I heard some where that it doesn't matter what you wear. I probably took it out of context.
  5. Redzone is the issue (one of them anyway) with my attendance at the the Cape Cod shows. The Yarmouth venue FAQ lays the law down pretty vigorously. And I totally understand that and as I have stated previously I will not be complicit. The situation is the same here, and shows on a Tuesday and Wednesday are not happening for me right now anyway. We old folks have a saying: "c'est la vie." Y'all enjoy!
  6. They do have some stringent requirements.
  7. There was a time when setting out for shows we looked like this...
  8. People keep talking about Herd immunity. Some here know him, and know there is no immunity. He is an infectious as it gets. Ron is a great guy, a true brother and warrior, and I hope he is doing well. Anyone have sightings? He is a master at social distancing via dodging texts.
  9. I would love to go to the Philly shows but I am from a red zone state. It is recommended that I quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. That isn’t practical and so I will not be complicit. https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Travelers.aspx
  10. There used to be a Politics folder (or whatever is the correct terminology) in earlier iterations in the Forums. I'm not recommending that it be brought back, but it was a convenient place to keep political discourse. Of late I have wondered what discussions about, say, agitation for regime change has to do with the greatest transition from Scarlet into Fire to be found in the Archive. I admit that I am not up on the latest disputations about Marxist praxis and theory, or the critical exegesis of “A well regulated Militia" in the Second Amendment. I just like to dance, although admittedly I'm not very good at that either.
  11. Yes, I did, and yes there possibly is. Not only that, most of them are on good quality vinyl (as opposed to the cutouts so many will fondly remember) and I took very good care of them under sometimes suboptimal situations. No stacking on a spindle for me. Covers and slips are good too. I have most of the booklets that came with those that came with booklets. One of my favs is the Last Days of the Fillmore box set. The one with Blows Against the Empire is great too. In fact, even now when I do handle CDs I still only hold them by the edges rather than treat them as if they are coasters for drinks.
  12. Mmmm, red dot and 4x32 in one nice package. Thank you, Trijicon!
  13. This is not surprising but is heartbreaking.
  14. If music's in business I wish it for you...
  15. Thai sticks were fun.
  16. Asymptotic people evidently can spread it. Epidemiologists indicate that seems problematic. Hopefully the power grid stays up so we in the death demographic can stream all the excellent suggestions on Now Listening while social distancing.
  17. At least it gives me ideas on some new moves for summer shows...
  18. And I’m proud to have shared it with you all. It was an honor and a privilege.
  19. Hmmm. I’ve heard good things about shows back east. It might be interesting to check it out.
  20. One I really want to see is Pink Talking Fish.
  21. Now if only someone would do Fire>My Old School, that would be something...
