In Dewey Beach, I saw someone in that said t shirt. I didn’t think positively.

Depends on how they sounded and if they were doing 70 shows a year. If Jerry was alive, it would probably depend on him being in semi retirement by now. More on the phil train then the Bobby train. Would Bobby Tour with Mayer Mickey and Billy if Jerry and Phil decided to sit it out? I see more like 20 dead shows a year. 15 Jgb shows almost all California than 70 shows a year if Jerry was alive. Of course we all just guessing and speculating. Nobody knows. If jerry and the boys were rolling out 100 show a year, I wonder how big panic, cheese, and Phish followings would be.

I saw Marcus king play with As the crow Flies at wanee also with his own band. The kid is a force to be reckon with. I was impressed and most here know I’m not easily impressed.

What I think really makes this show special comes from the fact that despite the H>S>F opener it doesn’t peak too early. Often with that monster of an opening sequence to the show. The show kind of mellows and never reaches a bigger climax than the one right out the gate. That just wasn’t true here. Big explosion out the gate was surpassed by the Scarlett fire only to be outdone again by the Alligator Stephen Viola. Although I’m still pro the eleven. This was a great show. Great dance party. Absolutely love these BM get togethers.

I think Chuck offered up a band of his in the other thread. Cornmeal Of course that couldn’t be recent as Chuck is comfortably in a semi retirement

But Scottie we need your guidance.
-
I don’t think I took a moral stance or even was critical of the other driver. Simply stating facts. As to where you state hypotheticals. However I always appreciate a heads up when a passenger senses the situation first. Kudos Rude. You should be praised. Not quite worshipped like Scottie but definitely award worthy.

Lady that hit us was on the cell phone.

That’s okay. I don’t think much of their Beatles.
-
I don’t know how much you had to do with sealing the deal. I certainly appreciate any good words you shared on my behalf. You 100% did us both a solid helping us get home. That can not be denied.

Rudisms or life philosophies of the Rude might deserve its own page. Quite a character. Always good for a laugh. I was in that accident and on my way to the airport. Created quite the time crunch. Truth be told I don’t even remember if we made our flights.
-
That actually reminds me of a classic rudisms you might hear on tour. Still nothing about saving the world but how many times have you heard I’m allowed to look. Melli and I look together. She likes checking out the girls. Something like that.
-
Rude You sure did help. In New Orleans man I think her friend Monica is hotter In Columbus. Dude check out all this talent At Jubilee Whitney you all right but man his last one blows you away.
-
I don’t disagree with you Mango. I first saw her at DSO show. Then met her at DSO show. Really connected in New Orleans over 4 days and 2 DSO shows. Lots of magic at the shows. I would be the first encourage you to catch more shows. We’ve missed you on the dance floor but I feel like at BM we hadn’t missed a beat. When the moments occurred we weaved and whirled together with tremendous harmony. It was beautiful. The world needs Scottys. We’ve both been beacons like him at times in our lives. I’m sure he will love the company.
-
Probably easier to find someone with those VIP tickets not going to show on a ticket resale site than on the DSO forums. Wish you luck.

Part of me still envies Tour legend Scotty but I know some of the greatest blessings in life come off the road. I fixed that mango

Wanting some input from veteran Jam In the Sand heads
Tom Banjo replied to sageandspirit's topic in Tour Information Hub
Plenty of room to dance on the sand. The stage is right by the ocean. Definitely could wade and splash while they play. Pool view room puts you in the quad building with a huge pool and bar in middle. They pretty nice. Pepsi water red stripe be in the fridges in these rooms. The food is good but I wouldn’t say fantastic. However my party leads me away from enjoying the finer things on the table sometimes. Food available after show. Jerk chicken served after show almost every night. Delicious. -
This isn’t my set list. Not that I don’t like it but it’s not what you call my bread and butter. I like pigpen Dead best. However, this night proved the strength of DSO and the power of any era or collection of Dead songs done right. Also think it attest to the power of my DSO family. I had the most fun. Felt the energy of the music most and in my not so humble opinion moved the best I did at any show on this tour. I was lucky to catch 10 shows and I had other great nights. BM has the perfect recipe to have one of those magical nights. Lots of my DSO family makes it out to the show. Some great dancers in that group. Raises the bar and the energy. Also the staff here is super chill. We can smoke and enjoy ourselves without too much fear of reproach. The ground is mostly flat and outdoors so tons of space even when DSO brings a big crowd. I love this venue. This night was magical for me. Thank you DSO and crew for bringing the goods.

These guys brought the goods here. BM proved once again to be one of the best DSO experiences of the year. So much love and joy shared amongst so many friends and likeminded strangers. So great to see so many of my loved ones. We will be back next year. Maybe bring the kids.
