I just saw little feat. Big fan. Crowd not the band was too stuck in nostalgia. The band felt it. Maybe 10 people dancing total. I hope that isn’t your experience or you will regret not taking the drive for Dso.

That’s a nice wave. When it works you feel like boss. But often it agitates those asking questions. I probsbly make 4 or 5 of these. Have to see how the cookie crumbles.

Only thing wrong with the 1st set is I wasn’t there.

They would reward those that made the drive. Wow

Some of the amazing giants are dear friends of mine. Back in the camp inappropriate days we camped with several of them. I intentionally did not include them in my initial post. I find their distraction to be very short lived. Like being offered a joint. Small stuff. Not worth taken a stand over for me. My 6 year old step daughter loved them. By the way, she had an absolute blast. Jubilee is definitely a festival that works hard to keep it safe and enjoyable for the kids. Toph was in bubble land all day. I think I’m gonna fire hoop in camp late night next year. See how it goes.

Musically I think this was my favorite too. Hadn’t quite found my feet yet. Night 2 and 3 my dance energy would go next level and I felt more energy from those around me. But musically this was a strong offering from DSO.

I have to agree with Bix. We really pulled together a great group this year. Hopefully it only grows. The Hilltop RV camp is where to be.

I have a lot to say in response to this thread. I will reread the posts and say something today. Rob K, I appreciate your response.

Chuck will always carry a strong opinion with me. He may not do it like he used to but when he did it. He was one of the best Hardpan made a good point. Those watching the fire dancers are disengaging from the show. It’s a distraction from the music. Music many of us consider sacred

No she did Disney in a harness with me. Harness was left at grandmas on Florida so all we have is the body wrap thing. She’s danced with mommy a few times. Kinda danced with of us first set last night but she was on mommy tummy. We do dance together. A few times I have danced her to sleep through a fit. Thank you for the support

Between Chuck Mango and Myself we have easily seen over 1200 DSO shows. Toomuchfun total not too shabby either. These are serious fans discussing an issue real serious to us. Besides my family. Nothing is more important to me than DSO and dancing

I got no issues leaving to smoke. You talking all smoke
-
If they make me rope off a dance area pretty sure I’d ask you to leave if I saw your phone.
-
Definitely the best since the days of camp inappropriate

I appreciate the support. The more voices we get the more likely we will be heard. Btw, I’m with mango not on best show ever. That 69 from the ark is tops for me but this despite my complications may very well been the best jubilee ever.

Absolute blast. Such a great group. Love all around. One complaint move the fire spinners. That is the most ideal dance space and to rope it off is plain stupid. If anything it should be roped off for the dancers. Fire spin late night or do it back by kid zone. Im mid spin totally blissing out 2nd set night two. My lady says I’m just a step off from Jamaica. So I’m moving. Security stops me to tell me they gonna set fire spinners back up. That’s insanity to me. I was so close to that total loss of my own consciousness to have that happen is a total bummer. If you feel you need to use that space for fire spinners and you feel like they essential to this scene and community. Do it late night when half us back at campsite and good dance space isn’t at such a premium. Or just let me know you don’t give a fuck about my opinion. I will bring the rugs back. I will rope them off and I won’t let anyone that doesn’t dance on them. I don’t care if your my friend or you know all of us. You don’t dance you don’t come on rugs. I’d rather just move the fire spinners but I will stand up for the dancers and fight for us to have a space to really get down. I think the dancers are more important to this scene than the fire spinners.

So I meant westbury not tarry town

Saturday at Port Chester was a little too full and had some crowd issues for me. The show would get good. Emotional. I would connect and start to really move. Then I’d get bumped into as the other “Heads” in the crowd moved to the bar or bathroom or outside smoke with little to no care if they bumped or shoved me out their way. Black Throated. Melody come to mind.

Man. I loved show 13. My first 100 shows like every night or every other night was the best ever. Now I have like 25 shows in my top 10. Welcome to the family. I’m sure our paths will cross on down the line. Enjoy the ride.

I wasn’t there so I can’t judge the show. On paper I’d say you need to see more DSO if that was the best one ever for you. Did you go to Tarrytown? What about Penns? They’ve been on fire this tour so I can see why you thinking this way. Maybe best tour ever. East Coast gets the heat.

We killed it in our corner. Great energy all around.

Scotty Sudds was on fire too. He crushed it’s all over now.
-
Looks like there some issues in Chris’ Brotherhood. I think they still playing jubilee though.

First year and the first few years we had parties that bordered on epic at camp inappropriate. VIP has now taken over our spot on the hill. Dunkeroo anyone?
