Wow. What an experience. This place was packed. I mean packed. Sold out. Stretched guest lists. The guest had guest. Some people must have snuck in. I mean butts to nuts times 10. We arrived late and spotted a friend from the East Coast up in balcony. We quickly decided to join him. The effort it took to get across the venue floor and to the stairs to the balcony was trying to say the least. I don't like being touched. I don't like being bumped into. I don't smash dance or bump and grind. The stairs weren't any better. Either was the balcony first set really. This was the kind of experience I've admittedly walked away from. I always stay to the Jerry ballad but I was pretty sure I'd be leaving at that point. So glad I stuck around. We ended up dancing right in front of merch for awhile. This spaced really wasn't much better. Some people are amazingly fucking rude. I nearly got shoved over several times into the merchandise. But at this point the music really started to win me over. I found some movement and space during Jack straw. I started to really express myself during Stella. I was becoming one with the music. Slowly letting distraction and irritation slip away. Truckin other one was good but I kind of lost the space to move but continued just feeling the music. Boom eyes. Wake up to find out. I moved back over to Jordan neck of the balcony. I told him we gonna space it out. And that's just what we did. The eyes through China doll was a complete release. That magical feeling we seek when we go to a show. The rest of the show was good too but the China doll was the peak. It was the moment. love is real

I just played that Hampton 83 help slip franks breakout for Whitney the other night. And I listen to the 6/9/77 show regularly. That 3 night winterland run is epic.

Yes and SML and Scotty one and the same.

You lose some you win some. Whitney and I were going to fly to Oakland and drive to Tahoe stay at the casino fly home. Like a fool, I prepaid the hotel and rental car. I guess your wondering where the winning is. so I thought I worked the day of Salt Lake City. Turns out I had the days wrong. I work Wednesday. Show is Tuesday. So we will pick up tour for the final four. 1 Utah 3 Colorado. We still gonna go to the casino. Spending a night in black hawk here in Colorado tomorrow. Booked room in glenwood springs for the night of the aspen show. Aspen just a little too pricey for my blood. We gonna hit the hot springs in glenwood springs. Suns out buns out. And to cap it all off on Sunday the eagles win the super bowl. 😉 my lady has the most beautiful smile. I woke up today. My precious Delilah gives me jump huggies. My cup is over flowing. What a beautiful day to be alive. oh yeah, sml playing after show in Utah. If you going to dso, you should definitely check him out. You won't be disappointed.

Eagles too good. And we got 2 first round picks this upcoming draft. We gonna be good again next year.
-
Those Dak picks were definitely the difference in game. He's overpaid and overrated. Picks gave Niners 6 points. Costs cow girls 3 points. They lost by 7.

49ers just need that one touchdown.

I think our ability to run the all, turn the ball over, and pressure the QB makes us a tough out for anyone. Our QB was also hands down the mvp if he didn't get hurt. He may still win it. Also nfc East was hands down the best division in football
-
No way Cowboys win the way Dak takes care of ball. They were in field goal range. Now 49ers may score before end of half. And if the Eagles don't scare you after the game we just played you may not know football. Just saying. I'm scared of your bengals don't get me wrong and I think with mahommes hurts you guys getting to the super bowl but if we play our best game we will beat anyone.

Dak too careless with the ball.

Birds looked like a championship team yesterday.

I'm with Rude, although I think he's giving them more of a chance. It really runs me wrong when people go nuts over Mayer but to each their own I guess. I stick with DSO. I think hyryder is pretty sick too. Some Phil line ups peak my interest. Splintered sunlight is pretty legit. There's tons of local cover bands that tickle my musical strings more than dead and co. Love seeing Hebert at so many roads on Wednesday. He gets a crowd of like 20 to 30 people but the music is much better than dead and co in my not so humble opinion.

I think we gonna sit that east coast let out entirely. Maybe we will make Albany but nothing is a definite there for me.

The whole 2nd set was kinda a surprise. First set was 80s style.
-
I can't recall the set list for sure but I think I have the 2nd set down fairly well. Cryptical > other one> alligator > mountain song > other one > cryptical > Stella > drums > throwing stones > going down the road > viola encore Quinn the eskimo i loved the 2nd set and that may be a little out of order I'm not sure whether Stella was pre drums or post drums. I feel like that set list was written for me. And of course I know it wasn't. I missed Jamaica last year because I was on a 6 month unwanted vacation. I got arrested for smiling on a cloudy day. Just out of prison on 6 dollars bail. Some got 6 months. I know I got a friend somewhere. Btw, I really cool program out there is called I got a friend somewhere or something like that. It's penpal service for people locked up. It gives a way for heads to let other heads doing time keep in touch with the scene the community. It lets them know they haven't been forgotten. When you get a letter when mail comes when locked up it feels really special. It keeps you going. It gives you hope. spent the night after the show listening to Cotter and friends play til 5 in the morning. That too was incredible and magical. Jamaica for me has always been the most magical time. Is never not worth the money spent. I love each and everyone of you. I can't explain with words just how much this music this scene means to my life. It proves the greatest joy in my life. The most magical and meaningful moments in my life other than Whitney and my kids. It helps me feel. It helps me grow. It gives me meaning and purpose. Love is real.

How many playoff games has Dak won?
-
Someone had their panties in a bunch after that amazing performance by Dak. Georgia mauled TCU.
-
I was driving most of day tomorrow and dropping kids at grandma and getting in position for Jamaica. Now eating hotel breakfast about to head to Fort Lauderdale airport. I finally caught the highlights on sports center. Eagles clinched the 1 with the ugly. The cowboys once again looked like an accident waiting to happen. I mean wow that game made me smile and laugh. And yes Dan Campbell Detroit lions big ol balls.

Carr is mediocre by NFL standards. I'm not saying he should hold a s clipboard but he's close. Maybe top 25 QB. McDaniels got his fame and reputation with the best ever. He needs a top 10 guy. Carr should look for new team but he hasn't earned unbenchable status.

We couldn't stay on Sunday so we didn't catch the Phil set. I would imagine the sound was better then to but I don't know. This isn't a grill cheese and crystals event for sure. It is Grateful Dead music all day though and with DSO JGB Sages and Spirits and Phil x 2 has the high end bands we are looking for. Hyryder is a nice addition and grateful shred is pretty solid to. Cubensis Stu and xtra ticket bring it as well. There's like 8 to 10 GD Jerry bands that are must see at this festival plus a handful of other bands that help fill the afternoon hours decently. If you can afford it, you will be treated to a first rate music experience. Boombox, circles, and salmon decent non GD acts as well. Maybe not must see for me but I know others will thoroughly enjoy their sets.
