My discussion is to show that there is a clear dichotomy of those who care for the scene and those who USE it. This dichotomy extends to the drugs they use and how they conduct themselves on said drugs. This extends to society as a whole... I guess from the back, you will have a good view of our scene going away, taken by others. It is easy to stay above the fray. How about you police your 360 degrees in the back... I can handle the aggression in the front. I have partners called security. These security partners of mine are in every venue. They get paid .. only when there is a show. If someone is threatening the future performance of shows, then that directly impacts their livelihood. They are One of Us!!! and if all of us heads: front, middle, center, side, back, balcony, orchestra, lobby, step up & form the Tholian Web.. Then... This darkness got to give.... .

The shock top reference was to show you a god given history. It is not man made. The ergot (type of wheat) fungus is the base ingredient. Think of how extractions from Cannabis concentrate the substance.

God Given = Cannabis, Mushrooms & "Shock Top" Shock Top is Ergot fungus or LSD. It was a 1300s drink called shocktop made out of wheat that had ergot fungus. They tripped sac. Cannabis grows brain cells. Mush & Lucy open up pathways in the brain that force introspection "look in the mirror, corrective actions" Great psychiatry promise since it pulls the patients personality out so that the therapist can work with the true being M & L allow what are 4 quadrants of the brain to talk to one another through a symmetry cloud that forms during use. This cloud lasts for 20 days which is why "micro-dosing" is popular in high tech space. We have the first brain imagery in 2017 to prove it Man Made = Everything else... Alcohol etc....Heroin, Fentanyl, MDMA, K2, Opiates, Benzo's ALL Alcohol has trace amounts of cyanide & arsenic = your hangover = Keep poisoning yourself (Big pharma commercials = 15 secs of help 45 secs of indemnification) GMO vs. Organic Big Pharma vs. Homeopathic Evil vs. Good Man has usurped God. Man thinks that he/she is God. The bastardization of what God has given us combined with what Man has arrogantly with ego created has us in this current moment of crossroads and choice. Choose Wisely Brothers & Sisters Yes to TB guitar. This is the SAME CROWD DEMOGRAPHIC that destroyed GD tour in 92-95. These shows become a COVER for them to get HAMMERED. These people DO NOT SHARE OUR VALUES. They will destroy our scene and MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PARTY.

My Brother Greg.... Spot On. I am in front row every show I go to and ….. I am the Captain of that show. I police my area while enjoying my high

We will lose what we have here unless we police ourselves. This is a seminal moment. I HAVE ZERO PROBLEM walking over & getting a security guard and ending someone's rampage before it hurts others. K2 is an issue in New Haven. There were 20+ overdoses in a park this summer when someone was giving the K2 away. Evidently Fentanyl has come to town. I have arm barred several show goers in Vermont about to land face first on their opiate/alcohol mix. This is UNACCEPTABLE. But Penns Peak.... that is like a DSO Holy Ground. THIS IS A WAKEUP CALL TO OUR COMMUNITY!!!! We TRAVEL over 6 hours to Penns Peak and get hotel room because we LOVE THAT BARN.... Thanksgiving Eve precludes that usually so we go to the Spring show. We need to understand that we live on a planet of good & evil. Our music and GOOD TIME is being hijacked by the same element that hijacked the GD tour starting back in 1992. I ended my touring in 1991. 15 shows in 18 days at MSG & Boston Garden in Fall 1991. When Hornsby left the handwriting was on the wall. There is an ELEMENT that uses OUR MUSIC as an EXCUSE to GET OBLITERATED, while at the same time AS A PREDATORY TARGET to sell THEIR WARES (H, Fentanyl, Special K, MDMA, Nitrous) WE DO NOT NEED THESE PEOPLE. THEY COME FOR OUR PARTY & GOOD VIBE but do not understand it & cannot participate in it because they are SOULLESS. They do not come for the music. THE MUSIC IS A COVER for them to socialize and get hammered THEY SHOW THEMSELVES NIGHTLY..They TALK during Comes A Time, They leave in the middle of Slipknot to get a drink. They ask you after Forever Young is played, what show are they RECREATING. They go beserk when Truckin is played. (They actually know a song)By the second set. They spill & slur & bump you all second set. There are some genuine young people seeking our vibe. I engage them usually on the process that Rob Eaton has to go through to program a tour and why certain shows do not fit at a given time. BUT THE ONES WHO CARE LESS IF THEY DESTROY OUR VIBE, are always among us. I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR IT. HIPPY DOES NOT MEAN DOCILE 24/7. TIME TO STAND UP FOR OURSELVES I walked into Lowell for Wolf. I said wow, old venue, good vibe, if it was Dead & Co. it would be a Nitrous festival. Thank god it is DSO. Then I leave show and GODDAMN. at least 3 vendors of Nitrous right outside the venue. No COPs in Lowell to care. Fender benders in parking lot in the pouring rain. GTFO on a Friday night. We went to Northampton.... PERFECTION. We choose DSO shows by venue. We NEED DANCE ROOM. Not SEATS. Capitol Theater has an inclined floor and MANY DRUNKS and SOLD OUT 1800 people..... No Thanks LET's TAKE THIS BACK!!! I KNOW YOU POSTERS. I SEE YOU IN THE FRONT AT EVERY SHOW. There are 360 degrees around all of us. Let's manage that space and NOT ALLOW THIS WE CANNOT SPREAD A GOOD VIBE TO EVIL.... WHEN EVIL is CONFRONTED.... IT RUNS... IT HIDES... THEN IT WILL BE GONE.... Mason's Child, my brother: The EVIL on this planet grows daily. There are no myths, there are no coincidences. There is only truth & reality. The uneducated & the unexperienced are their targets. All it takes is one trick, newbies hope they bought coke but.... you got H, Meth, Fentanyl as substitutes. One taste and you're hooked Shipping powders back and forth. …..White goes north. ….A whole world full of petty wars.... I have been turning the page since 1984. Now is OUR TIME.... TOGETHER.

I would call it historian. Since it is opinion, there are no experts

Final Comment Legendary connotes legend meaning story like Samson. So that week in 1977 with Boston Garden, Cornell, Buffalo is legendary. Books contain chapters about that week and those individual shows. Lots of stories about particular shows especially Cornell = Legendary. Classic means outstanding of its' time & highest quality. Now we have to add in the variable of the band we follow DSO & the year. DSO is set up based on Lisa as Donna Jean to be a 1972 to 1979 period GD band in terms of pure recreates. This show in Early 1979 is classic as you get ONLY performance in Massachusetts of Shakedown Street & From the Heart of Me on same night by Donna with the Dead. GD performed Shakedown Street 3 times in 1979 in Mass. Now we have identified the CLASSIC portion of description of this show = Donna You get her last solo song only performed 26 times live. You get the only one ever done in Mass (Heart of Me) Lisa destroyed that song last night (in a good way). Donna wished she could sing like that. She is an angel With that you get a Terrapin & a Playin/Playin Reprise which all showcase what Donna adds vocally. You get the last Casey Jones done in Mass with Donna. This show was Donna Jean's TRUE last rodeo with GD in Massachusetts. Back to our regularly scheduled programming

All good. We get into word meanings and semantics when we parse classic versus legendary. This was a classic show for sure but nowhere near legendary. The show is short due to the curfew at the Springfield Civic Center. The band responded with Mr. Charlie, Box of Rain & Tore Up to make up for the shorter show 5-7-77 yeah that was a legendary show but if you would have checked, you can make it to New Haven on Friday and SEE IT!!! Agreed with 76' Boston Music Halls being very good shows but the archival picks of shows involves more. 38 Massachusetts shows minus the ~40 songs played Friday & Saturday ie…. no repeats. Wolf's appearance knocked out 73 and 78.

Problem in life is timing. Both great shows so no issues there but.... 69 Ark means you have a whole show without Lisa on the band's 21st anniversary. NO WAY 73 Springfield opens you up to SIX repeats when in Lowell Friday night with the $1.6M Jerry Garcia' Wolf guitar played by Jeff Mattson, they created an elective show for Wolf that was 1st set 1973 and 2nd set 1978. Wolf was updated with additional pickups in 1978 which is why 1978 was chosen for second set modeling Friday Wolf was commissioned from Doug Irwin and first played September of 1973 at a private Hells Angels party called the Pirate's Ball on a boat in NYC Harbor. It was a fundraiser for a Hells Angel member imprisoned by Nixon. You can see short clip of Jerry playing Wolf for the first time here in this clip from Hells Angels Forever a 1983 movie. Go to 16:00 mark which details the NY Boat party.

I did the work before the show so was expecting 1-15-79. Listened to it on the drive down. It was Chuck Berry's birthday hence the Johnny B. Goode. My fellow heads have covered the show and how well played it was. Lets get a shout out to Barraco. He was happy as a clam all night long and delivered with floating feather fingers all night long. Here is my .02 This is a quintessential GD show from start to finish. Shakedown Street album on display. The electricity, the vibration, the sound was simply overwhelming. Springfield Civic Center had that same vibe since it was smallest indoor arena Dead played. Loud booming sound, booming tapes. DSO recreated that. It took my high planetary. I am absolutely junk today. DSO left it all there on 21st anniversary, I left it all there on my "11" "33" day 11-11-(2+0+1+8) = 11. Until Lowell and Northampton, it had been a year hiatus creating my business, getting it licensed & established. This weekend had been on the radar like neon since tour announced. I have been jones-ing for this special day after feeling, I have today, for a year. Perma-grin in effect.

Tremendous Tour Opener. Wow. Wolfie had everyone pledged to deliver their A game but it is a tour opener at the same time. It took the improvisational lack of boundaries in Bird Song to flip the switch but then KABOOM.... Full WRS start of supercharged interspersing jams between Ron & Jeff that continued the rest of the night. Fire on the Mountain was incredibly spirited followed by a thundering Samson. Wolfie in Jeff's hands delivered searing notes on If I had the world to give, I thought I was in the Cleveland Music Hall in Fall 1978. Surprised by the St. Stephen quicky into drums but understood something special would result and we were treated to a smoking Not Fade Away wrap each with exciting Mattson-Eaton interplays but for me....the HIGHLIGHT.... Stella Blue. Jeff declared clearly to his new friend Wolf " that I have "Dust off those rusty strings just one more time" Lucy even calmed down for Stella...wow Wolf shined all night in Jeff's ever capable hands. 113 GD shows East Coast taper & archivist here.... My first dance with Wolfie ….WOW Trying to catch my breath...not quite... here comes.... not sunshine.... but an Angel.... Mr. Dino English As if this show was not burned into my soul forever, here is my bow on top. Dino gives me a drum stick. Let me tell you.... Splinters everywhere, mad work by Dino all night especially Samson Incredible gratitude & a Big thank you gift basket of hemp pain balm coming to Northampton for the "Never miss a Sunday show"
