Great venue, great show. One of the best I’ve seen from DSO in years. The Dancin’ jam blew my mind and the Wharf Rat was just beautiful. Great stuff.
-
Terrapin through the end was really great. And that filler was such a treat! With the recreation ending right around 11pm we thought that was gonna be it

Looks like 12/27/78 with Wharf Rat instead of Black Peter?

It’s been so long…can’t wait for tonight and tomorrow

What a fun show! The transition from Masters of War back into Slip was incredible! And that entire third set!
-
Great show! The pre-drums second set was perfect. Best Eyes I’ve ever seen from DSO!

I swear this band gets better every time I see them. They really nail the sound of the late 80s. Some standouts for me were the Shakedown Street, Jack Straw (which the band absolutely slayed), Bird Song, China > Rider, the Mind Left Body Jam out of Truckin, and that cherry on top filler of Tangled Up In Blue. The whole show smoked. Praise DSO

Unfortunately I wasn't at either, last night was only my 13th DSO show, I've only been on the bus for about 2 years now

Lots of reasons why this was the best show I've seen so far...I went straight from my last final of the semester to the venue, and this show was the perfect way to kick off the summer! As someone whose listening habits are mostly stuck between 72-74, I heard a bunch of songs that I know of but have never previously listened to...Victim, Spoonful, etc. The meltdown/spacey jam in Victim was killer. Bunch of my favorites in this setlist, like Bird Song, Other One, and Dew, and each was played exceptionally well. The jams in the first set were great, the shorter first sets of this show compated to electives or early 70s stuff allowed the band to really jam out each song. The venue is also great...perfect sound, chill crowds, and an Overall great vibe. I enjoyed this show exponentially more than Saturday in Port Chester...not that that was a bad show, but last night's setting and setlist were top notch

As always, everything was great! My dad got to hear everything he was hoping for (Sailor > Saint, Help > Slip, and Wharf Rat)! Some highlights/thoughts: Tighten' Up Jam in Dancin' was short but great, always love to hear it. The Cryptical > Drums > Other One > Cryptical was easily the highlight of the show (for me) and alone was worth the price of admission. Multiple themes, build-ups, etc! I was especially blown away by Eaton's rhythm playing - he led the jam at multiple parts with some awesome chord licks and progressions. Twice during the jam the song descended into space before returning to the theme with an awesome buildup. Incredible! The rest of the second set was great as well. Set three was non-stop highlights: the Eyes was exceptional and included a Skip solo, Terrapin was perfect, Help > Slip > Wharf Rat was fun and unexpected. Happy New Years everybody, Praise DSO.

That Other One Suite might be the best thing I've seen live
-
I was thinking the same - quite a few repeats between 12/30 and 12/31/78. The dream (for me) would be a 3 set elective in the style of early 70s or late 60s, but I'm sure whatever Eaton and the rest of the band has planned out will be incredible!
