Great call, Bill. The hippie scene in Memphis and on Beale Street was a sight to behold. What a blast! Final Memphis Blues, appropriately.

If only there was a kickass show from March 29... 😂
-
Well if you haven’t already jumped in, let me tell you that you are in for a fucking treat! I’d start naming tunes, but that would just be redundant. Not a bad effort by the taper, either. 😎

How about a Rob Eaton/Charlie Miller soundboard for today, boys and girls? Vegas, Aladdin. 3/26/83. https://archive.org/details/gd1983-03-26.140315.sbd.eaton.miller.clugston.flac1648

Sup, John? Hope you and yours remain safe and sound out there. Gots to be Phil on this comment about LLR. Please confirm...🥸

Here’s a matrix of 3/20/92 in Hamilton, Ontario. A top show for 1992 in everyone’s book. https://gratefuldeadoftheday.com/03-20-1992

Lots of St. Paddy’s Day shows to choose from. But in 1993, they trotted out Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds for the first time. https://archive.org/details/gd93-03-17.sbd.ladner.4979.sbeok.shnf/gd1993-03-17d2t04.shn

Let’s bring 2021 into the world of TIGDH with January 6, 1978. A smoking and pretty fun show at Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, California that is memorable for reasons other than the show that was held there in February 1977 that you might have heard of: this one has Garcia singing in set 1, but he calls it quits for vocals in set 2 due to laryngitis (too much, too fast over NYE, Jer?). Note some banter and a stupid Weir joke in set 1, how very gently Jerry sings when he does, and the Truckin, as it promises to get you moving. Bonus Intel: the two shows that followed were in San Diego, and neither one of those shows had any Garcia vocals at all. Can someone say “rain check?!” https://archive.org/details/gd78-01-06.sbd.clugston.6953.sbeok.shnf/gd78-01-06d1t03.shn

1973 is the year for TIGDH, November 25. Feyline Field in Tempe. Charlie Miller transferred board. 5-star boogie fest as only 1973 can provide. Do not skip the China/Rider (not sure anyone would ever skip a China/Rider, but if you were going to, don’t start by doing so here...) https://archive.org/details/gd1973-11-25.sbd.miller.113007.flac16

I did not know any of this. Thanks, RD. I do like to think I know good sound and good music, and that was indeed both of those. Cool arrangement on Corrina.

If my aunt had balls she’d be my uncle. 😜

And there it is.

anyone purchase box office tickets at the space in westbury?
DesertDead replied to scarfire's topic in Tour Information Hub
If you can’t figure out how to get your money back, you can always call the bank that issued the card you used and tell them you are having trouble getting a refund for an event that was cancelled. They will issue you a provisional credit, giving you the money back right away while you (and they) research the matter.
