Hey guys, I have seen The Garcia Project, I have even been in touch with them to try and get better venues for the area I am in. These guys are the DSO of JGB. They sound absolutely phenomenal. Many of yall know I do not know the music in terms so many of you do. My only measure of music is how it makes my body dance and the energy that runs through it. These guys are the real deal and no joke. They may not look it, but did GD every look it? Ron Jeremy Playing Drums, Daisy Duke playing rythm, so classical musicist, throwing love bombs that are still bouncing off the ocean floor. MiK would be worth someone getting to know. I am posting this cause I saw the thread.....and know what I am talking about with these guys. I would go on tour with them. Actually my next post....I may go on tour....I may run away. Sorry Mik its been a rough months. I usually can give better words. Im fading.........one more post These guys are the real deal......support them and you will be happy you did!

two judges on "The Masked Singer" walked off after Rudy Giuliani unmasked himself at the end of a show taping, a source close to the show told CNN Wednesday. Hmm.....who silence who? Banned: Books on race and sexuality are disappearing from Texas schools in record numbers Society moves as a pendulum which also moves as a circle with---"Degrees of Freedom"!!!. Look at historical moments in society and culture. Lot of evidence suggest that people do not handle societal changes well when there are jolts of quick action. Hence...conservative. Conservatives believe change should be slow and weighed, as there are always unforeseen reactions to change. Liberals appear to implement haste change. A jolt to society. Move fast left, the pendulum swing further right--eventually.... look at the 60's similar reaction, although a strange one when you look at federal elections.... democrats started Vietnam War and it took Republicans to get us out. Ironic isn't it!!! We had Regan after Billy Beer......Nixon after the man who created our "Great Society". Why does Texas seem to cause these issues. Funny, it took a Virginian to create Texas.....but maybe that's why there is controversy all these years later!!! I really thought many Dead Heads would know a whole lot more about history. It would bring so much more depth when listening to the music!! ALWAYS BEWARE OF GOVERNMENT CURES!!!!!! Don't care if its right or left.....if our government has a cure, weigh the knowledge of history that you have...if you don't have that knowledge remain ignorant of current times!!! -

Line, Sinker and Hook!! Did not see Rogan pulling his show because of the music played on a third party app--or even requesting another party remove their productions because of ideological purposes---Its clearly one sided---not sure how your argument works here Rude. https://www.uspresidentialelectionnews.com/2022/02/johns-hopkins-study-lockdowns-and-closures-had-no-affect-on-covid-19-deaths/ No effect on Covid-19 deaths, but devasting effects on children kicked out of school for a couple of years and a good portion of the adult population still dealing with depression and angst from having their lives blown up. With all the restrictions, mandates, and control coming from the government at numerous levels, this study from Johns Hopkins University finds a collective impact of less than 1% on the Covid-19 death rate. Actually, saying it’s around 1% is generous. The real number they came up with was an improvement of… 0.2%. Was it worth it to set children back in years of education for a 0.2% improvement in Covid-19 deaths? Some people would say yes, and those people are free to stay in self-lockdown for the rest of their lives. The results are quite grim actually, what did we give up as a society for a 0.2% improvement on Covid-19 mortality: “We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality,” the researchers wrote. But the research paper said lockdowns did have “devastating effects” on the economy and contributed to numerous social ills. “They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy,” the report said. John Hopkins must be one of the Republican funded University!!! Trump was in charge during lockdown and should bear the responsibility of creating this problem. I am self-interested here-----bit upset this whole thing caused less DSO play dates. Forgive me on the nonpartisan approach, but don't f... with the music!!!!! When Russia invades Ukraine, you know what gas prices are going to do? Some of you have tons of funds, some others look at cost/show ratios. $4.00 gallon gas sucks!!! Its why this stuff is relevant when you are itching to see DSO perform--more and more!!!! Be funny if the virus just disappears through mutation. If that happens, could anyone say trump was wrong it just disappeared? The irony in reading journals that now say the same thing....they just don't know yet, cause somehow following the science just means more changes and guesses!!! Love this music with all its ironies (example--JGB being church for many faithful despite the person leading the sermon---Was Jerry mocking Christianity with Sisters and Brothers, Gamora, I will be with thee, Palm Sunday, Waiting for a Mircle, We Bid you Goodnight..etc) and truths, but it took decades, and I am sure more decades to find the ever changing meanings into something simplified, predictable(standardized).....There are times when you live in doubt!!! There are times when you get hit upon Try hard but you cannot give Other times you'd gladly part With what you need to live Don't waste the breath to save your face When you have done your best And even more is asked of you Let fate decide the rest Would you miracle a republican? Would you miracle Anne Coulter? I would definitely give Anne Coulter the miracle of life---if you know what I mean!!! Is it called trolling when you bait? maybe that's what they mean when you go trolling around the lake structure trying to catch a fish. Utopia is a world without controversy. What did we get out of the controversy of the 60's? Without it.... where would all of us be now? Don't ignore disagreement as the He's Gone you prefer to discuss would of never existed without controversy!! Celebrating it rather than demonizing or running away from it does not bring about creation, innovation, or the God Damn Grateful Dead!!!! 😍If it was not for difference I would of never hoped on any of these buses!!! -

Spotify Won't Pull Joe Rogan – But Comedian 'Open To Change' And Even Issued Apology To Neil Young Joe Rogan also took to social media platform Instagram on Sunday, where in a nearly 10 … Forbes · 2h Hmmm....all I can say..... A southern man don't need him around anyhow!!!!!! It is ironic that names from the 60's and 70's are trying to silence alternative thinking voices. Not sure why the CDC has continually changed their stance on Covid 19, variants, vaccines, and other protocols. They are following the science and similar to minds, we all know science never changes----because if it did---why would anyone follow the science if its always changing its mind? Anyone else find it odd for the push of others to conform to what the government wants us to do? That same government we all trust, love, and follow mindlessly because it knows best. To embrace the pharmaceutical industry which we all know exist for our best interest? Of course----less oxycodone. It only took 30 years for the government to cash in a second time with billion-dollar fines against the finest cure ever made!!! What is freedom? Nothing left to lose? What do the unvaccinated lose? Their life? Is that not freedom, a choice to live or die? Is that not the ultimate freedom? Personally, I think we should all be treated like sheep. Like military. Line up and drink whatever kool aide government says is good for you. We all know, the government knows best!!! Blind faith is important when dealing with the US government. How any of us do not trust the government and the pharmaceutical industry surprises me. These institutions are absolutely the finest, most honorable, honest, forthright, and calculating entities on the planet. Its amazing for me that there are actual people in this country who feel their body is autonomous. Every man who is a national citizen by threat of force must sign up with the selective service. Thank God women are not allowed to sign up for selective service, as we all know women are not as capable!!! Who would even think of discriminating against gender, race, or religion, and sexual orientation? A man who feels like he is a women should also be separated into a separate class of citizen by not having to sign up for selective service. What women would want to go to war. Men love it...war is a blast, especially when you come back home and spat on by your wonderful neighbors and other citizens!! I wish I was young enough to volunteer again for military service. I really want to go back to Eastern Europe...but with a United States uniform. Our country is always right and should be followed blindly into battle. If we only destroyed all of Vietnam and Cambodia, could we now not have to deal with AOC or Pelosi. 40 years of cold war, we finally get to fight a more democratic Russia with our more socialist ideology. Does not matter -----Europe still cannot protect itself....why would they...our government knows all and has shown successfully how right we are throughout historic conflicts!!! Pelosi should thank General Stonewall Jackson and General Robert E Lee for her position. California was once Mexico before these racists took it for the United States. Not sure why we don't give it back along with reparations. Those who have trepidations about the vaccine..... please reconsider, your government says so, which makes it right!!!!! For those who are patriotic and American loving people---Please continue to silence anyone and everyone who may have a different view. Silence them---remove them from platforms. Force the opposition down. If they hold rally's or display any public support, destroy them as they don't think like you and must be removed or silenced. You will not survive on your own otherwise. There is nothing you can do to protect yourselves from these anarchists. They are destroying the very fabric of society for which YOUR government affords you the right to live in!!!!!! I wonder----how much does the company who produced polio and smallpox vaccine now make? Citizen susceptibility to government in times of chaos drastically decreases. Less control means more autonomy----especially after the Inserection by a few thousand citizens. Russia has over 100,000 troops bordering Ukraine, and we are sending several thousand troops. Those Russian soldiers must be pretty week compared to our few thousand citizens!!! Oh Yea---those places that actually defunded the police----Record decrease in violent crimes!!! Like record decrease in crimes overall. Its amazing how governments can take acute public sentiment and quickly create utopias...and in only a year or two. So proud of America and what it now stands for. Solid like a rock!!! Somehow, I still feel, a southern man don't need him around anyhow!!!! Tocqueville for me, appears to have a point!! -
That's a beautiful set list. Love the sandwich for both sets. BS--->Other---->BS------that's a tough transition. My guess.....no one stopped playing for at least 20-30mins. DSO can do what ever they want with this music. Its pliable like play dough-----no limits with more ability to shake the boundaries beyond the originators. Like technology and Moore's law----DSO moves the music to places its never been----absolute beautiful.

Did you make it to this show Vegas? If you did, super happy. Crazy setlist, and one that probably stirred the inner and outer dancer inside you. However, did you go out to Cinci and avoid Park City? I am way cooler than Teacher Matt-(Sorry Coach---Dont take offense!!)---We would of loved to have picked up Vegas in Vegas and head out to Moroni's promised land. Nevertheless, looks like you had a good run with some good people!!! That is a big compliment Vorty!!! Keep the game going, many here love playing.

They did have a taper. I saw him set up in front of that middle tent. I believe. Thanks for sharing!! Lisa kicks ass!!! Janis would be proud as we are!!!
-
Tonight was a well orchestrated masterpiece. Lisa crushed it for sure. She took a little piece of my heart tonight and left it on the dance floor!!! Thank you Lisa... We love your pipes!!! The China sandwich? DSO performed it with the musical authority they are well known for. The dance was top notch. These shows brought out the best type of people. Smiles, energy, hugs, love all around and in no short supply. It does not get any better unless we had another two nights!!!! Love and already miss you all. I have my CDL, maybe I can help drive? Tonight was special....it was one of those nights you remember and cherish.

I don't understand EZ E, but I liked your comment anyways. i will give you benefit of any doubt your words kind and intentions pure:}!!!! even if i dont understand----- the tears are now starting...its over....it moves on...its now memories and no longer action. Potential to kinetic energy neither created or destroyed....if true why the joy to void. I miss it already. Love my fans and love those I am a fan of......be well, be safe, be healthy, but most of all have LOVE....if not with another for yourself and another will find you!!!! Good job tonight Scotty!!!! Be a kind time if the keys were filled with a familiar friend. This weekend was perfect with perfect people. Thank you DSO for bringing together another chapter of divine time.

As far as I remember there was a invite in helping your execute your plan. My guess it was executed only half ass😁!!! I knew you would be up but you were not up with me. Phone is no excuse. you could of got me a uber to hang out. What happened to good ole days when we stayed up and made rude and disgraceful comments about all things inappropriate? If that what settling down means, than I am happy my wife left me for less attractive but more financially secure men. Basically, men who cant dance and get down!!! TMI----never went to sleep....excitement is just to hard to handle. And we miss you brother!!

OMG---I am the only one still up. This seems to be a consistent issue with this community. Had to repeat. What a awesome night in PC. Utah is such a magical place. The build up from Asheville on to some eventful days and nights in the Utah desert, flash floods, fires, onto Timpanogos Aspen Grove, up some serious elevation back down through some majestic canyons into they valley of deers. Saw more deers in Coyote Gulch, but saw more dancing bears at Dear Valley. I pinch myself, I have to....I find myself in the most awesome of places with the most awesome of people in our community. Always room for more family, but those that are here make it feel warm. The past year with covid and other obstacles have made for a disconnect that many of us have experienced. Its cliche, but so true for me and my ride on this bus.......the heart grows fonder....time away, reconnecting.....I have made a point to ask questions and get to know people i have known for near a decade now. The time away......sure, we miss the music, the party, the fun, but I miss the connection I have with others through this music. To smile with another whose life is completely and almost opposite of your own but shares the same love and meaning of this music. Its with out words. I have none to give the feeling justice. No doubt, we all sacrifice something for this. Its not cheap, its consuming, those who love us that dont understand, wont ever understand. It is at times a battle to do what makes us happy. Why cant every night? Be tonight? Or last night? As a friend so wisely says, Praise DSO,.......Praise DSO for sure-----they keep the magic and connections alive, real, and meaningful. I may be the only one still awake, but I am dancing in so many minds breathing for another night...tonight!!! Got good music post show tonight. Really good music. I got two shows tonight!!!! It was good to see DSO's support!!! Life is tough, divorce sucks, lawyers love drama, kids growing,,,,their struggles yours..covid...I got high energy hours shared with high quality people that took all that all away and somehow made it ok to be human again. To feel human again. It is with out a doubt and without no reasonable argument to contrary that seeing the Utah skies turn blue while still basking in the previous hours glory is the best medicine for life...right now, at this moment!!!!! I get to do it all over again in hours!!!! The dance vibe is top notch. Utah is filled with beautiful people and I got to see some of the most beautiful people from all over dancing in front of my eyes. I got to join them!!! I got to join beautiful people from all over dancing to beautiful music sharing beautiful motions that deliver beautiful smiles, hugs, and kisses . Until next time!!!! Love this family!!!!

Asheville is good fun. Orange Peel sort of blows. Asheville not known to be a hard ass curfew town, but who knows these days. Definitely a hippy town compared to mine. .....PG.......Even if a Queen Jane----wont you come and see me------I forget thats a song to your dislike. If they do a Queen Jane, we could be lucky enough to get a Desolation-----I bet I would still seeing you dancing approximately!! Getting on the road in 30 heading out towards Western NC. Good crowd showing up for these shows!!! -
Looks like the nights will be cool. More concerned about the air quality. Thankful Parleys canyon fire got drenched. No complaints for monsoon moisture. 9000ft--TB-----you should have some good RBC count coming into a higher altitude show. Jealous. Nothing more fun than coming down in elevation for high energy music....not sure what 2,000 ft elv does for you but its an extra kick for sure!!! defintely a hoodie for set break!!!

Sorry about the rain out for those who went. I would of been ok for that desolation. That is my white whale that I have been searching for a long time. Have got some awesome music, but....that desolation is still in my wheel house to see. Hope tonight the rain holds off. Be safe and dance awesome!!!

in 24 hours will know if taking the western trail back to where I belong. PC is good elevation so not worried about any heat wave even if one is. Its a dry heat at perfect elevation for a good dance party. Be good if Scotty played some tunes post show. If going, hopefull to hit Escalante Staircase. Will find place to stay tomo if I get the green light which looks pretty good to date!!!! And yes, Weir and Barlow are correct---the Mormon girls are great---least when I was fit and not balding!!!

My old stomping grounds for at least 8 years. Can't belive I missed DSO in Salt Lake...to busy being a wanna be scholar. Would love to get these shows. See some old college bros. Teach em how to dance well...to let loose. I find the area to be very into themselves. Awesome for the self absorbed....I fit in well....least used to. Praise those who get these shows. PC is a awesome place. With the mass migration out of California and little Hollywood with the new tech valley, the billionaires now pushing out the millionares.....regentrified. so jealous of you heads that can afford and have the mobility to tour. I want the music now so much more than ever. Spent 3 hours at a trampoline park with kids yesterday. My legs are strong, but spine compressed. Wonder if they may play SLC? That would be awesome!!!!

We talked about that show this last weekend. I was blue. Hypothermic for sure. Ron nearly died and has never been to a show since. That was Virginia State officials at their finest. Another one of our fine companions was taking to jail with no charges. I think that was the last year of that Pocahontas. That place was my first show in May of 2012. I hopped on the bus and wow, what a long strange trip its been since. I have lost weight since Fredericks last year Rude. I would of been fine then, but at that time, I was no body fat. That rain literally knocked me out. I was blue. I stripped down and crawled in my sleeping bag cause we gave bunks to elders and women---right? Was Meli with us? I know Rebecca was there. Cosmic--Mike--you--I--Rebecca--T(?). Please fill in. I do compliment your memory. You are a bit more quicker than I, especially when I was blue and close to collapse. That walk was horrid. I cant believe they did that to us. They could of drove us right to the campgrounds--instead,,,they dropped us off at the entrance to the park. Were you not staying with us that weekend Rude? We had a cabin. We had a cabin the next year with a AC. I remember AMY had a cabin, but you for sure was staying in our Cabin. No? Follow up... I have started a journal to document the past decade and the decade to come. Tired of forgetting all the fun!!!

Chuck thinks therefore I am..........To be understood is to exist------Validation comes so easy with our community. YOU GET IT!!!!

I was way to thrown back by the weekend to complete a review last night. There is something in this music and watching those who love it in real time that makes one speechless. Trying to find words for feelings that run so deep is at times complicated. We all have individual constructs of what we see and feel as beautiful. Yet, as humans, we are able to share, relate, and understand the overlaps of our individual constructs. Its amazing when the overlap occurs in close proximity. The energy feeds, fuels, and opens up our minds to the thoughts and feelings of others with out speaking them. To communicate with out words is the most intimate of anything shared between people. Its something that I do not yet have the words to fully describe. I can only describe it as breathtakingly beautiful. It literally changes the way I see the world--both the macro and micro. May not be ready, but definitely encouraged to write the first book on Quantum Mechanics and Dancing Heads. Entanglement occurs for us as much as it occurs for the spin of a paired particle. I need more shows to research this phenom------Can anyone say tax write offs for research!!!!!! The last night In SC was more than one could ever ask. There were so many highlights. The people I got to dance with are some of the people I love most in this world. The music is the "Flavor" that brought us all together. The set list says it all. There were some things I never heard before. PG dead on----no bumps or no thumps before BIODTL. Rob just started singing. How fun getting one of the favorites with a change....it threw me off for a second. FOTD was fast--more western---and a delight!!! It hurts me too----thanks Rob----we felt it----its confusing for the mind to feel the pain yet be happy dancing to it. Who can honestly say the music does not make you grow as a individual. Learn about your feelings and how to manage the internal conflicts. Yes----its more then dancing to quality sounds. Its a reflective process that forces us to grow in front of everyone--In real time!!! China/Rider-----YAY!!!!! St. Stephen---always a highlight. Huge highlight of the night. Thank you DSO for hitting it hard!! Felt like I was dancing on air. Nothing no longer grounded my body---a arrow straight and narrow hitting every sweet beat. GDTRFB------Always played well. Tonight no different. But---to share it with people I love, again--special beyond words. Love light----I am unable to comment and share----I can say DSO did its job and put smiles, thoughts, dreams into hopes and wishes. Never underestimate the power of hope----Hope has moved mountains, cured diseases, and transformed lives. So nice to be able to share a brief glimpse of how a single show can have such big impacts on a individual life----because its so much more than music!!!---It is with out a doubt a rare and different tune. Thank you guys---thank you Lisa-----thank you for all those who I shared the weekend with. Now keeping a journal -- I never want to forget the joy you all bring!!!
-
I have never been so embarrassed for ignorance in my life. As a younger man, I might have had a talk with these guys. Wisdom comes with age----so I threw my self reflection vibe there way. It will take about a week. That redneck will be on forums with in a year begging for a WRS like they produced this night. It came out of a space that was so much fun. Skip was awesome during the night. So excited. So much chatter, but when he got involved in the drums during drum space transition, we knew from his facial expressions that they too are like us----kids in big bodies with talent!!!! Following up on PG's comment-----Strange Man was amazing. Lisa's vocals were so powerful I found myself no longer dancing but moving through a dense medium of vibrations that filled every molecule of air. Quantum mechanics pushed all that vibrational energy into our souls. To have all your cells vibrate with Lisa's powerful sounds is at the very least----spiritual. We are so lucky---

The night was super fun and jaw dropping. The weather report was so beautifully constructed, developed, and executed. We are all so lucky to have access this. More dance space than anyone could ask for. The company shared was top notch. Heart bending. The weather was perfect for the heat. The light rain fell on hot sweaty bodies just enough to keep the hot trot dancing cool. Why can't this happen every day?
