Before Florida happens and it all rolls into one, I just wanted to express somewhere: There has never been a best as best as this. I've done 10 full tours with this band now, and this last one stands out in general as the best yet overall. The toppest knotch playing (next level, unreal, unfair), the perfect clarity and presence of each musical voice, the afterparties, the places, the people.. West coast is magic. And it's funny how people all along the way would ask what the best show had been thus far - And it had honestly all been so wonderful I had no clear obvious answer. Until the very last night that is - Tour ended with an unexpected punch - The Saban show was a real gem. (Which Jubilee do you think we'll get the remaining '83 RR show at?) East coast gets too much love. East coast tours take everything I have to just keep going [I still for the life of me can't figure out why anyone lives east of Denver...] - I get home and need days to recover. The west however is totally rejuvenating - I returned from this one fully recharged and ready to take on the world.. West coast is magic. Highly recommend to anyone here who has never experienced what I'm talking about to someday make a pilgrimage to the promised land for some shows. Love you all so much - Thank you for everything. Praise DSO! P.S. Legit considering bringing a full on winter coat to FL...

Show of the tour - Absolutely incredible.

My father"s very first Grateful Dead show. I had a feeling they were going to do this one too, I knew for sure - I should have mentioned it somewhere yesterday... How was it? Sorry I couldn't make it out this time.. really missing everyone. Love you all dearly and hope you're having a blast <3

Cull the nonbelievers - Elective only tours now!

don't drag me into this

I love you all so much.

It seemed better than last year - Fewer big rocks, more even grading, and hard packed in some place. No rugs, but one large area was claimed with maybe 9 sheets of plywood/chipboard which was interesting.

Wow - They should let these guys do this more often. People are so quick to dismiss the later years, I think some really pregnant stuff goes greatly underappreciated. And these guys do it so incredibly well - Nothing stands in the way of the potential being realized this time. Like they polished off and made us all love Corrina, I'd love to see what else they could resurrect and breathe new life into reaching even deeper. This band could play a Samba you'd be impressed with and walk away from having unironically enjoyed. Think about that for a minute. Praise DSO!

Killer venue (despite the bowling lanes...). I went upstairs for a minute, front dead center - Had the world"s best stereo mix blaring at me, crystal clear and beautiful. Would've like to've known how the stream source compared.

Finally got to hear how they'd handle a recreation Corrina in comparison to the DSO Corrinas they've been rocking at electives. Their ability to switch between styles or approaches to a song never ceases to amaze. I really would love for them to keep going and do more later shows and pull in more later material. Awesome venue.

Home brew~ Jack Straw Sittin' On Top Of The World It's All Over Now West LA Fade Away CC Rider Positively 4th Street Just A Little Light Mama Tried Bird Song The Music Never Stopped Shakedown Street Crazy Fingers Unbroken Chain Playin' In The Band > Drums > Space King Solomon's Marbles Hey Jude > Playin' Reprise Attics Of My Life Around And Around E: Day Tripper Before returning, Shakedown broke into the jam they do in the early 70s Greatest Stories which was super cool. (If this one has a name, someone let me know.) Chad Wackerman sat in on drums for at least Playin' and Drums, possibly more. Attics had Jeff, Eaton, and Lisa singing. The first HOB I've been to that wasn't awful - It sounded great and had plenty of room and places to dance.
