This band never disappoints..ever. That was a monster show. Let it grow took some nice twists and turns. Loved every second of this recreation
-
Hey doc..speedy recovery my friend
-
Yes There may be crickets around here but shows are still packed and the music is played at such a high level of quality/perfection and with so much heart. Itās really good for the soul. I still see smiling faces That I know and I see new ones too, and as long as we still have all this Iām a happy man. It is sad when it gets a little quite around here between tours but you Gotta find ways to keep on keepin on. Tomorow and Monday Iāll see Phil and then go right into dso coming coming coming arounddd

Yeaa I can def see that, heās rocking dead tunes. Iāve heard His bluegrass is sick though. I would definitely go see him. Probably Once
-
Rude I saw a Mayer interview he said bobby wants him to keep deadco going after the boys hang it up. that would be just as bad as a deadco tribute band lmfao. Iām gonna go see em just because, but out of the 30 deadco Iāve seen I think a handful of the SONGS and music was played up to speed. even my girl whoās newly on the bus said to me these guys play so slow, no wonder you seen dark star so much, I like dark star better and I said I know babe I know.
-
Unfortunately I couldnāt be in Europe with dark star so I tried to get a JRAD concert in. i canāt make it, due to work. itās at the wellmont theatre in New Jersey Thursday September 29 at 7pm. i have two tickets they are $63 each, I will take anything you can give. Message me if interested vic

Wowwwww

damn Rude how sad but true this is. Grateful Dead in the mothballs of history, Well not for us around here and plenty more others but that whole shit you said hurt to read. I have people that know that Iāve been into the dead for years all of a sudden asking me stupid questions About dead and co and now they assume Iām a John Mayer fan hahaha which makes me laugh. It is what it is man, at least the music is still going, like Iāve said before its not the dead as far as how we like to hear but it is still bobby Billy and Mickey up there. Mostly nostalgic It has it moments of great music and moments of slowness, I donāt wanna call it bad. Itās badly paced. I said in a last post I probably wonāt go this weekend to citi field but itās my bday, itās 30 mins away, the suns gonna be out and why the fuck notā¦Iām gonna end up going to at least one if not both nights.
-
Exactly Rude. Set lists are actually good on paper when I look at them. Itās how they play it.

See you in seaside bro, been awhile. Toot

Dead and co is getting worse from some of the videos Iāve seen this year. Iāve gone to a couple shows every year and I think Iām throwing in the towel. And thereās a show on my bday at citi field. I love Bobby and how heās carried the torch. Went to alot of furthur and some rat dog, just saw wolf bros at radio city but for some reason these dead and co shows donāt get there. I donāt wanna feel like Iām not enjoying live dead music, canāt get into it or canāt dance. And thatās what itās come to. The ticket prices are robbery and Besides the pace, Mayers voice is to bluesy/pop for this shit. I heard him do sugaree this past week and it was tough. The dude can def play the guitar parts, thereās no doubt about that. Last year at Hershey park he took Tennessee Jed on that end of the song jam to some crazy place and I loved it. Heās had some moments of nailing the guitar parts. I think itās been 7 years now of overpaid tickets for decent ( at best) live dead , itās not worth it. this band is cool for new super young heads as well as old heads who still wanna see the boys on stage, the lots cans be a lot of fun too. This is just my opinion because these shows are all packed so people are diggin them. For people who love dso they know thatās where itās at. But just musically dead and co is nowhere near DSO, at all. Looking forward to Saturday in jersey next week in Hampton beach and then next year Jamaica here i come

Thatās Scottie Scottie??? Wow thatās sick

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!! Canāt make it this year, see everyone down the road this summer!!!!

Thereās been no reviews but Friday nights recreation with Jeff using alligator was unreal and something special and tonight was a fucking beautiful show. Tangled up was perfect to end The Weeknd . Love this band, and love our crowd. Catch u in jersey

https://www.instagram.com/reel/CWi_fPzD0QC/?utm_medium=copy_link please watch šš they made a interesting point on tales from the golden road on SiriusXM. Deadheads hold Jerry near their hearts and are very hard to satisfy when it comes to Jerry related things. Kind of Like when John Mayer started. So Jonah Hill as first is probably not anyoneās first choice. And as long as itās not a junkie documentary (words they used) it should be pretty good. Is a he a fan? Who knows his extent of love for dead music. Heās pretty fucking funny and played some good roles. So all we can do is hope itās not a shitty portrayal of Jerry and a good depiction of him and the band. Val Kilmer played a mean Jim though. Either way who gives a fuck Iām happy DSO is back on the road

Best weekend Iāve had in a looong time. The cap is back and the band hasnāt skipped a beat. Night 2 set list is outtaaaa control and good to see friends again.
