  1. Got valley road in Cleveland for the 1st time. The gf said what song is this? I’m like Bruce Hornsby song. She’s like who’s he. I played the Way it is in the car and it even confused her more wondering why he played with the dead. I’m like don’t u remember dead 50. The keyboards turned so low you couldn’t hear them. That was him lol. The purpose of the lesson was we all gotta make money and he found his. Gotta appeal to the masses at times to pay the bills.
  2. Wow did you get a houses of the holy>cotton eyed joe? I’ve been waiting for that combo forever.
  3. Unless you want specific seats, buy from fan club. I’m like hey it’s only $6 more for up close ticket-$36 seats close vs $30 for GA but since u get GA with fan club and Ticketmaster has the assigned seats that $6 becomes $16 extra a ticket. $19 in fees per ticket from TM sending a pair of $36 to $110 but the $30 ga on Ticketmaster only become $35 +$5 fees for the pair on fan club. The worst thing is I’ll likely be in the GA the whole show :/. Should have just got fan club so the band gets a bigger chunk of the revenue.
  4. Still can’t buy tix and no on sale date. I’ve spied the ones I want lol even though GA will prob me end spot
  5. Hoping release dates soon. Hotels ain’t getting cheaper the more they are booked in Cali in the summer
  6. I want the 1st row aisle behind pit which should have room to move close up for only $6 more than GA even though I’ll prob end up in ga anyway
  7. I just tried. Go to the page and click buy to go to payment page and says none available
  8. It’s not official yet. Prob why no tix for sale even though shows for sale.
  9. I tried to buy. Shows map of available seats. But says none available. Weird that the front row is sold out before seats are on sale. FU ticketmaster. I tried all options and couldn’t buy. It looks like there is usually an open pit but they put seats there on the seating chart. Seems like would make more sense not having the seats and being able to sell more pit standing tix.
  10. Any masked men at the show? Vegas is notorious for that.
  11. Lol. Half the fun of touring is planning and thinking about the options. I need to pipe dream also for my mental health. I live in an escapist fantasy land which is the best place to live
  12. I love those theaters with perfect sound!! Dso has such great sound. Jrad was muddled. It was super loud but bounced around everywhere. Luckily Dso had Cotter on the board. Dso has the best sound by far of any dead group I’ve seen and that’s a huge plus. Cant wait for Birmingham outdoors. There’s no bounce back outdoors. And that’s a loud PA. Getting within 20 feet of that stage is playing with fire. Our king Solomon’s marbles didn’t record Jeff’s guitar because it overloaded the iPhone mic that badly. That’s how loud the bass was. Yes I’m already dreaming of ourdoor shows. It’s 65 and sunny today. Winter has officially been broken. It lost its spirit to keep fighting. It tried to break me New Years in Indy with below zero temps for 2 straight days. But spring has taken hold. I plan several long road trips to help accelerate global warming to kill winter once and for all!!!! Damn u winter even if you kill mosquitos and fleas. Without winter, depression could be wiped off the map!! Everyone try to drive an extra 5 miles a day accelerating wildly and if we work together we can warm the world. Fix up a car from the 60’s that gets really bad gas mileage and drive it everywhere. Turn your lights on and leave em on. We can save Canada if we work together!!! Think of all the jobs that will be created for people having to make sea walls and water pumps. And gr8fulpairs house can become a beach house instead of a lake house!! It’s a win win win win.
  13. Sorry I’m mistaken. Alaska May be winter tour 2020. Perfect time to do Alaska.

I’m looking at this amazing suite at Humphrey’s. 4 beds with a private large balcony overlooking the marina. 1000 sq ft can go 10 deep easy. Someone book it and I’ll go in $100 on a bed.
  15. Heard rumors of Alaska instead of SoCal. I’m hoping these aren’t true. Alaska is a beast of a drive.
  16. Parenthesis are balanced....now
  17. Probably 3 of my 100+ have been anniversary shows. Like mr Vegas said they are the exception rather than the rule. Rob Eaton has a complex mathematical formula to figure setlists. Talk with a nasa scientist and they can give you the formula. I used to know it. (China + Rider -3(last played in x(city) - y(era last played) + z(venue type)))/sqr root(Jerry band)

Juicy set list! Lots of goodness. I don’t recall hearing Dso do an old style Minglewood in any show I’ve seen. How often did the dead do that before new was released. I’m thinking New Minglewood was 76 and new new Minglewood was 78 with the t for Texas.

Carnegie Mellon is a great resource but they are notoriously inaccurate. I’ve posted 2 from there that I was like they are missing several songs.

Good looking strange setlist. Those are the kinds I like. Wheel, JBG to start lol. The 1st 6 are about the strangest opening I’ve seen in a Dso setlist. They must have been been feeling sporty when they wrote that list.

  23. Was that part 1 or 2 as the BM shows are the 2nd leg. I’m guessing Midwest will get some late summer love too. And I always say the last year was my banner year never to be beaten, and every year since I 1st saw Dso, I’ve done more shows the following even though I don’t see how I can get to 40 this year....unless...
  24. He said break before redrocks-no connectors. Deadco shoreline should fill the gap as I bet Dso finishes right before those shows, but a week in sanfran ain’t a cheap stint. Likely will stealth camp 100’ up a redwood in one of those suspended tents with a ladder hanging down to save on lodging. I’ve always been curious how I’d do selling merch in a lot. I was thinking officially licensed dancing bear rolling papers. One of my promotional suppliers sent me a special on some organic hemp custom full color papers with organic soy ink. I actually thought that would be a solid Dso merch item as people always need papers to roll cigarettes. Give me a holler Ellie for the link
