Bryce young looked scared all 1st half. Refused to trust the blocking. He was not sharp at all. But Bama ran so much they didn’t let him get a feel for the game by passing on the 1st drive. Cincy was only putting 6 in the box pretty much letting Bama run run run. But cincy is lucky to be down 14 with the 300 to 70 yard deficit.

Wow. You rule forward progress had ended on 4th and goal at the 1 AFTER he crossed the goal line in overtime. The ref doesn’t signal the play had ended until the ball was over the goal and then makes sure it can’t be reviewed by making the unreviewable call of forward progress. The whistle didn’t blow until after he crossed and the ref didn’t signal play over until after he crossed. Why would a ref blow it dead after he saw the guy cross the goal line. He could have ruled the runner down so that it’s reviewable, but no. The ref wanted to determine the winner. A buddy was like the replay will be overturned. I’m like you can’t overturn a forward progress call. You don’t blow a 4th and goal dead and you definitely don’t do it after he scored. That was a fun game if you missed the Tennessee v Purdue game, but one ref decided to not let the teams determine who won.

I watched a lot of crappy games so far. Covid is wreaking havoc again and opt outs in the nothing at stake bowls hurt. That auburn Houston game epitomized bad football. Auburn had a backup QB who couldnt hit the broad side of a barn and they called passes nonstop. Was insane. It didn’t help that auburn had multiple linemen opt out. Houston’s QB was way way better. Houston should have won by 20 if not for the talent on Auburn’s defense. Mississippi state was very disappointing. Will Rogers is a great QB. He played like crap. Miss state doesn’t recruit anywhere near the top teams, but had a good system that just didn’t work. if you haven’t watched tennessee play this year, check them out at 3est today. It’s the fastest hurry up in college history. Expect the ball to be hiked between 28-32 secs left on the play clock. There are hurry up offenses and there is tennessee. They had a 70yd td vs Alabama as they hiked it as the DB was looking at saban for the call. Tennessee’s defense pays the price never resting though lol.

panic is doing 3 st Augustine shows the weekend after dso finishes their winter tour. That would a fun 6 shows in 10 days.....but my priorities have changed. The boss said dadagaga when I said that sounds fun. Not sure what he meant but guessing it doesn’t mean “ditch me for 2 straight 3 day weekends, dad”.

HSF is the best way to open a show. Maybe you should say besides HSF which we all know is the best way to start a show, what would be your choice after that.

The plan is drive to cincy. See show. Fly direct to Reagan(it’s 2 miles from the venue). Hotel. See show. Next morning rent a car. Drive to Richmond 2 hours. Hotel. See show. Drive back to Reagan in morning. Drop off the 1 day rental and fly back to cincy. Grab car. Drive home. I don’t suggest flying out of Richmond unless you want 1-2 connections. Plus you would need a train from DC to Richmond. We’ve done it before in reverse with the train which made the flight home from Reagan easy. if you haven’t done the anthem yet, many of the hotels are right next to the airport and a super fast Uber to the Wharf. Or you can pay $500 to be at a hotel next to the venue, the intercontinental or whatever it’s called. There are literally hundreds of hotels within 2-3 miles of the venue. But Reagan is so nice as it’s not crowded at all and an easy in and out.

It’s insane right now. It’s going to get worse. Omicron is coming to infect everyone. The bears had their whole secondary on the covid list. The playoffs may become a joke if QBs are forced to sit. Green Bay is in the best position b/c Aaron Rodgers can’t be tested again before the super bowl with his 90 day test free window post covid. it looks like pretty much everyone is going to catch omicron in the next 2 months. I forsee some crappy games upcoming. There have been several so far from covid. At least there was nothing like last years Denver WR playing QB type game with 1 completed pass.

I heard a bunch of peeps who missed a bunch of jubilees for these high schoolers in weird states who graduate this weekend will be here this year. I may be in a bottom 10 educated state but we are smart enough to not graduate people on a 3 day weekend. I’d say we have better education based on the fact we don’t ruin holiday weekends with something as dumb as a ceremony for graduating high school. Like what else would you do at 17 besides showing up for school. We didn’t have middle school graduation but now they have that nonsense too.

the way it works is the March 19 show is cold because it’s still winter and the March 21 show is nice but a tad crisp because it’s spring. It’s a switch that flips every year. Then on Memorial Day weekend all bets are off as the weather people go on holiday and the season changing machines are attended by interns. It’s either 28 degrees or 85 degrees. Then a senator complains to the NWS and we see nice 75/55 jubilee.

66.666666666% winter tour. I’m ready for winter solstice. It’s the worst day of the year, but right after the days get longer and longer!! Unfortunately they are still getting shorter...

Wow 2 outdoor stages in March in New York. I’m guessing they will have toasty heaters for the band onstage.

I’m not saying they are a playoff team but think they are one of the 3 best. It’s like the undefeated 2007 patriots who lost to Eli in the SB. They were better than the giants but lost to them. Michigan has come on strong. They peaked at the right time and that DE of theirs is spectacular. He actually may be a successful nfl player even though Dallas and many other teams have bitten into the fools gold on Michigan D linemen and lost. Taco charlton still leaves a bad taste in my mouth when TJ watt was taken right after him. Ugh.

I didn’t say they deserved a playoff spot but I think they are one of the top 3 teams. They weren’t ready to play Michigan. That’s for sure but they were dominating teams all year. They lost game 1 to Oregon but OSU has been a notoriously bad team out of the gate in the past decade. They have some really bad wins in the opening weeks.

Georgia was completely dominant all year long. Their defense allowed 6.9 pts per game. They allowed 7 TDs in 12 games. They finished 12-1. Bama went 9-1 vs FPI top 40 teams. Bama played 10 top 40 FPI teams this year which is nuts. Georgia went 4-1 vs top 40 FPI in the easier East but they dominated all comers. Cincinnati deserves the playoff spot but they didn’t play the way Georgia did all year and Houston wasn’t even an FPI top 40 team. Cincy was 1-0 vs top 40 FPI teams. Cincy can prove they belong by playing Bama close. luckily a 12 team playoff will be coming soon. I still think Ohio state is a top 3 team this year and I despise OSU. This year they dominated after the slow start and the snow game in Michigan. In a 12 team playoff they would have a good shot at winning it all.

Losing Metchie with a torn ACL only means you have 1 1st rounder receiver to cover. But you have to get pressure on Bryce.

it’s definitely exciting that a non power 5 made it in. I think Michigan Georgia will be a good game. Neither Georgia or Michigan have big offenses so it will be a defensive battle.
