About Me
I listen to this band called The Grateful Dead. They are an old band so you may not know them but they play the big hits like Touch of Grey and Tennessee Jed. Before Touch of grey(released in 1987 but Using technology from the movie Tenet, they played it backwards in time until 1982) they were just known by hippies and acid heads and hells angels and other criminal types. Their mainstream videos touch of grey and Hell in a bucket that featured the Aflac Duck in his early acting days led to mainstream success and a more preppy audience who following Bob Weirs lead and made Izod famous and made it ok for men to wear pink polos. Hell in a bucket also continued the controversial promotion of violent motorcycle gangs which plagued the band since the days of this British manager dude and furthered stereotypes of Ducks being all alcoholics. Check out their spinoff band Dead and company which added superstar guitarist John Mayer to give the music a much more modern sound, revitalizing the band. Now they sell out big venues and ticket prices have spiked with the musical upgrades. Famous influencers like Monet Weir and Andy Cohen have brought a more fashion first influence to the crowd. You will now see designer fashion with high heels vs outdated fashion that used to plague the shows. It is suggested that you clap with the beat every song or sing as loud as you can during shows. Yes this is hard as very few songs are played on the radio so the band suggests you google the lyrics and sing along. ✌🏼
