  1. In a more normal year,,Last night would have typically been the kickoff for the West Coast tour....dammit Just Sayin ๐Ÿ˜ซ
  2. Thanks for the update Miss Panda... I was just about to post and see if anyone knew about a stream for next week... Well...letโ€™s hope for a smooth ride in February...!
  3. How did it go Rudy? You guys at home with your sweet little one now I assume? Any gender assignment we get to know of,,perhaps even a name? Big congratulations to you and Meili!!!!!! ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿงก
  4. yeah I totally agree, MC! When I had heard that there would be just 60 tickets per show I actually figured prices would be quite a bit higher per person than they are to make it all work. These numbers of attendees are more like a private party and so besides helping to support the musicians and crew get through a challenging time, you are paying for a chance to see these guys play in an unusually intimate environment without being packed into tight spots. Sounds like a memorable run of music will be created. Iโ€™m assuming yes, there will be a stream which is another way to participate and support the music ๐Ÿ˜€.
  5. Wowzer....that is a serious full meal deal set list !
  6. Iโ€™ve been beating the โ€œDSO should do more multi-night runs in same spotโ€ for quite a while....didnโ€™t imagine it might take a pandemic to manifest that...but it sure does make even more sense than ever now. 2-3 night runs for all of next year could be just what the doc ordered on both sides of the rail...
  7. Love hearing all the reports from all of you who were there...the drive in experiments seems like solid success under the circumstances and Iโ€™m glad for everyone there who got dosed with such a hot weekend of music. The streams were great too...thankful they produced all three nights and each show had a lot to offer. Itโ€™s fun to be able to watch the band closer while streaming. Going As far back back as the Zen Trickster years,,I canโ€™t recall ever seeing Mr. headband wearing a baseball cap...whenever the camera was on him he seemed to have quite a grin beaming from under that cap while beating on the keys ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. The whole band seemed so stoked for the opportunity to play live right now...that was a great trio of shows. For those that were there...It sounded fairly relaxed in terms of security etc...did you have to stay next to your car or was there any flexibility to wander over to some friends and hang with them for a bit? How many cars/peeps were in the venue? Do they let you bring in your own drinks to consume in and around the car? How was it out in the back rows? How much does it cost to get in? Just curious how it all works since this may be the modality going in to the spring...hoping they can make their way out west before too long... Very stoked you guys got the solid goods for the Halloween blue moon weekend! ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  8. Trying to get all the music taken care of before the werewolves really start lurking all over town for the night...sounds good...I like the early sows... Although that sets us up for a 3pm stream out west...
  9. I think I like the look Of that front row in the green Area off to the right at a slight angle...
  10. DSO on Magic Carpet Ride For a filler...barraco could go off in that jam... gotta say one of my standout pre-Covid music memories, back in February DSO suddenly did Wild Thing as a filler at one of the Portland shows....complete dance party meltdown...place went nuts
  11. Thoroughly enjoyed the stream and stoked for everyone who was there in person. This band is just SO FUCKING GOOD!!! Fun on the stream to get to watch the musicianship up close...awesome footage. Enjoyed the Puff the Magic Dragon ditty before UJB. Cape CODโ€™s gettin the goods Thank you DSO...so inspiring to see you back on the tracks driving that train so damn hard ๐Ÿค˜
  12. Yes indeed,,I second that emotion. Would be amazing to see and hear Lisa crank out some Janis. For a different flavor but along the same lines and altered premise, I think DSO could create a lot of beauty with Drift Away,,,perhaps Lisa on vocals for that too. Could be a sweet filler after a full throttle show
  13. Thank you Hardpan... So glad to hear the DSO Lovelight is back on and shining brightly ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Love the look of the set list ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿงก
  14. Yes,,also ready for reports from the front lines ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ป
  15. I'm thinking next spring will be a drive in tour, or bust....time will tell.
  16. Theme song to Sesame Street. Seriously...imagine some late Jerry voice opening with, โ€œSunny Day.....sweeping the clouds away...โ€
  17. Oh...life outside of DSO shows?!? ๐Ÿคช
  18. For DSO? I don't see any info for fall ...?
  19. I'd guess possibly back to somewhat normal by May but surely by summer... Fear overtaking a populace always makes for strange times, justified or not. At least, in this case, the "enemy" is not a person, group of people, country, or idealogy... Although I'm sure this sets up big pharmaceuticals for tremendous profits... It's in time like these that Old Uncle John used to say,,"stay healthy, continue to enjoy life, and smile on your brother...And for Pete's Sake,,,stop licking door knobs!!"
  20. Well I will certainly explore the notion since the Colorado dates are quite tricky for me,,right up against Oregon Country Faire,,, Now let's see...Black Mountain is actually east of the Rockies,,right??
  21. Ahhh ,,,Finally some clarity has arrived... Ampitheater run in Colorado looking pretty tasty
  22. I bet there are a handful of good stories around here regarding cell phone loss or disasters.... Talked to a friend last night who literally had his fall into the toilet...He mentioned that after I shared that on Friday eve of this weekend, I was out on my driveway about to get in the car and go commune with the sunset at the beach and I was scrambling around,,moving some rolls of fencing around out of the way just before I got in the car and split...little did I know that as I was doing so, my cell phone jumped out of my coat pocket and onto the driveway and it turns out ( I discovered when I returned...) that I ran over that sucker on my way out...crunched the hell out of it...totally toast. Moral of the story is that,,while it has been a significant inconvenience suddenly losing my phone access (with nothing backed up in my limited tech capacities..),,,I gotta admit,,,there's part of me that is thoroughly enjoying going old school and having no ability to text in or out for a handful of days.... I appreciate these useful tools,,,but......it's also nice to get some space from that particular tool.... ๐Ÿ˜œ
  23. Recorded from upper balcony... Looking forward to listening to this soon!
  24. Surely there are a few '74's that they haven't done before...??
  25. Dig the 4-pack filler... And dang you got the high time beauty ๐Ÿ˜Š
