Rick,,thank you for taking such an honest step and humbly sharing your story to that level. That helps others understand but also inspires us all to do the same. I simply want to say that when I saw you at Skull and Roses last Spring,,though our moments were very few and fleeting I could feel some sort of significant shift in your being and a grounded clarity that felt good to me…..so I’m just reflecting that back at you…and offering words of support to keep leaning in that direction…keep your hands on the wheel and keep steering towards kindness, love, family, responsibility, honesty, sweetness, and yes—ecstatic realease on the dance floor! You totally have it in you and it’s amazing to witness you steering hard in that direction… And a good reminder for me to do the same… I’m thankful you are still in this world and stepping up to this awesome opportunity to create the good life you envision!!! 🙏🏼

Definitely didn’t recall that they had played it a couple times back in ‘14…dig the resurrection occurring after the 8 year gap 😉

Great elective show…hot as heck for first half of first set,,They said it was 110 degrees on stage when they started but stage became shaded several songs in,, Eugene crowd always a hoot and good vibes all around with spacious dancing opportunities out in grass or closer in on the warm concrete… Loved each song while played during first set but was perhaps a little disjointed in the overall flow of the set,,but that’s to be expected with the intense heat… Got down to somewhat reasonable temps during the set break, Second set was a ripper,, The Help-Slip-Frank-Speedway-Women Smarter was just brilliant,,,and to get Low Spark and Shape I’m in for the same show was some damn good nourishing gravy… Really really fun night outdoors in Eugene 😎

Thank you Tea! It was a very special night of spacious outdoor dancing in a kickass amphitheater that holds 8,000 and had about 3,000 there…show played to absolute crisp perfection,,Band seemed to love playing on the nice large stage. We kind of felt like a 2-3 night run in Bend might be the ultimate… Great river swimming in the heat pre-show. Primo venue. I love love loved this night all around and to get the piece of my heart just threw it right over the top… fantastical Saturday night!!

12/15/86,,,Jerry’s come back show after the coma…(no filler—out of time) somehow the Let it grow helped clear out majority of the smoke and the sky was blue dreamy little outdoor venue for our favorite band 😎

Gettin’ stoked for some DSO vitamins this week… First trip back to PNW for the band since Feb ‘19…that’s quite a while! They’ve had brief outdoor appearances out this way before for a show here or there over the years (most of which were one set at festivals) so it will be sweet to get 3 amphitheaters in a row in Oregon after the unusual start in Tacoma at interesting looking old theater that has recently been getting itself back online… But dang the temps will be hovering at high high 90’s for all of these….hydration priorities emerging… Happy summer everybody 😎

I’m hoping some video shows up…would love to see Scottie doin his thing with the gang …wow have a blast out there, y’all!!

Looking forward to more in-fill…plenty of room for growth in that mid section 😉

Well it was pi day yesterday (3.14) so maybe it was a secret reference to a circular shape. also noticing they did around and around which was clearly in honor of the well-known holiday ⚡️

Would be a fun addition if that’s what it was.

It looks awesome…I look forward to a 2-3 night run there. It looks like they have different setups in the space depending on how many tix are sold…it just seems like a very well thought out venue for music lovers and I assume the sound is awesome throughout the soace 🤩

Anyone have a link to video of Lisa singing Piece of My Heart?? Stoked to check that out,,,can’t wait to see that Live at some point.

And the venue reports I’ve heard are very thumbs up… I hope for 2-3 night runs at the Mission Ballroom in Denver in the future. 🤩

I like unexpected, atypical openers. I’ve enjoyed DSO opening with NFA with a nice loooong and steady jam before the lyrics ever kick in…mmmm
