Terrific time last night......love the venue! (although the underground parking fees have gotten ridiculous). Spent the first set in one of the loges, and the second set near the rail......more free to dance upstairs but super fun up front close to the action.

Rankings? Heck, DSO never mails it in from my experience (my first DSO show in '99)…...so they're all tops musically. For me, the venue comes into play sometimes...….and of course, Headspace. Oh, and welcome!

It's obnoxious.....I rarely go there any more, but I wanted to catch Billy while I still can in a smallish venue. If there was ever a fire or an attack of any sort at the 9:30 Club, it would be a veritable horror show......getting out of there on a normal night is crazy and not recommended for claustrophobics.

I saw my first Billy Strings show tonight in DC......very impressed! That man can pick like lightning! Great energy in the house - which was packed to the gills.

I'm going to see Billy for the first time on Saturday in DC...….pumped! I saw Angel Olsen last night at the Lincoln Theater in DC (great venue!) She was outstanding......her new album "All Mirrors" is amazing.

Bloozy first set!

I secured my Billy Strings tix for the 9:30 Club in November.

Just watched this PBS show......I'm now a Billy Strings fan! Just enough lysergic sweetener on my bluegrass to make it compelling for me. I will catch a live show for sure.

Terrific duo of shows at the Hamilton. It was my first time at the venue......I really like it! It was almost as if DSO were playing in my living room......very comfortable. Very friendly staff! Of the 2 shows, I preferred night 1. Last night's show seemed like a continuous first set - well executed, but I never really achieved psychedelic lift-off with enough twisted weirdness to send me deep into trance dance land.....not a complaint btw, just an observation. As always, thank you to the band and crew for my soul medicine.....you always deliver!

I did make the train home okay. The show ended about 11:20pm.....Metro Center is only an 8-minute walk from the Hamilton. I did have to take the Orange line to E. Falls Church in order to connect to the Silver line to Tysons. Just be sure to be walking out of the venue by 11:30 tonight...…..given the 8pm showtime, shouldn't be a problem.

Terrific venue! An absolute luxury, as it's a 30 minute metro ride from my house.
