Happy birthday to the most recognizable face as I jumped on the DSO bus a long long time ago.
-
Wasn’t at the Anthem last night but was in Richmond 11/2/1985. The Dew killed 37 years ago as well. The end of a 3 show run commencing on Halloween in Columbia SC. After this show life changed as was the last one before marriage and child. Strange as was just discussing this with Rude night before in Cincinnati.

First set Chimes 2nd DMF Highlights for me…as well as the many acquaintances present.
-
The can’t make ‘‘em all (or any of them) notion just crossed my mind.

I beg to differ….RR is just a major must. Frost, Greek, etc….the more eclectic musts. I have been to RR…first show DSO 2019…The venue blew me away. The geology, the museum, the view….the heart rate monitor at top of hill. DSO wants to pay the others….if so and multiple shows…I’m in.

What about Evansville Indiana? I guess that was wham bam thank you mam

Three days earlier at the Palladium NYC

5 DSO shows plus jubilee experience last 2 weekends in May. As an old regular need to figure this out vis a vis camping or hotel options.

No my best friend and his VP mockingly wanted the 80’s to call regarding US policy. Shoulda heeded.

Keystone provides the difference….oops Having the opportunity to be energy independent…emphasize independent, and doing everything you can to squander that is just dumb. Oil and Gas has allowed the sun to shine in my back door for 40 years+ so I may be biased but not misinformed.
-
It’s all about energy. We are buying oil from Russia (Let’s go Brandon). China buying oil from Russia and can fund them especially at these and increasing price. Germany gets majority of energy from Russia. We could supply them but will displease John Kerry hence Depts of energy, interior, etc… will not even consider permitting for LNG. Seems to me only Russia internally can stop Putin.

There is already a plethora of historical fiction…an infusion of non fiction would be prudent.

Evidence is piling up that the “cure” was worse than the disease. Biggest human stupidness since Y2K if you are old enough to remember.

I feel your pain….my daughter definitely cut into GD shows. But on the bright side I did get to see Backstreet Boys, O-Town, and Spice Girls Reason for optimism: Have seen 400+ DSO shows since she turned 11
-
Great list to ponder….from those above I was lucky enough to catch… St Stephen Cryptical Lazy Lightning—>supplication Passenger Big Boss Man Also caught a To Lay Me Down…worth mentioning
-
I know one really well myself

I concur….opportunities begin just like this

Correct priorities. The liability in our litigious society makes $50 a pipe dream for child care in a mostly 21+ setting. In certain situations possibility exists. Brings to mind the Creamery in Oregon show with the little ones having fun in the tent while grown men sit naked on a pole.
-
Certainly worth the round trip drive in the pouring rain. Danced from first to last note. Viola and Rag worth special mention. Have seen BCE 4 or 5 times over the years and was thinking this would be first sans Dino….SURPRISE! Even bought the man a beer and brought it to his drum kit during Scarlet. Like me, doing what we love, cause we want it that way. AC too.

Going to shows, especially like cap center and revolution where you were literally shoehorned in has its inherent risks. Parking lots and pods less so I suppose. I admit gettIng ill after several DSO flings in my time but at all of them I am more likely to die in a car accident going to and from then from air borne disease including Covid. Test me Test me I guess I can only go to outdoor shows within walking distance.

Are they experiencing serious symptoms or just testing positive with sniffles? Playing with a contagious respiratory illness like a cold, the flu, or fully faxed, boosted, Covid 19,…audiences same…is the very definition of the show must go on and has been for decades. No telling how many shows I attended where this was true. That’s the crazy that used to be out there. I feel so bad for younger generations.

Weir said they would have fun lol
