Been on this board since 2005 and am grateful for Ron for providing its pulse. Many fun times and acquaintances started here.

First DSO 1/22/99…Third song Loser…I was balling like a baby.

Take a Letter played by Jeff and “friends” at last Jubilee

Tony Romo career playoff record…. 2 and 4 Dak Prescott career playoff record before yesterday…2 and 4 We now may have a new most overrated QB in NFL

10 DSO a year has become my goal sprinkled with some Hyryder and Born Cross Eyed. Certainly been blessed but 17 GD years followed by 24 years of DSO so far does take its toll. Even 5 shows on a single tour seems highly unlikely. That being said, hope to see many familiar faces later on down the river Friday night.

I will be at moonrise as the convenience too compelling. Got good deal at trip.com. Stayed there most Pageant shows and have no complaints. Lounge was better with sofas, miss Pi across street, but good noodles down the street.

If you like your GD not frenetic, not whimsical, but "authentic"...then there's nothing like a DSO show.

Having been born and raised in New York City but spending the last few decades in the land of corn and soybeans I have the following observations: The rural vs urban divide is just as if not more so the source of the destructive polarization going on. Does anybody where I currently live give a rats ass about the NYC subway system? Yet I explain to the indigenous population that my parents never had a drivers license. Their livelihoods and my upbringing depended on the mass transit system. When I was growing up,I thought that corn grew in the A&P cause there was always plenty there. There was and is little appreciation of the agribusiness it requires in fly over country to feed the city folk. So IMHO I believe it best to live in the sticks and visit the city. Especially true if raising kids. I have seen just as many GD shows in Alpine Valley as MSG. I loved both for different reasons. Over the past 20+ years and hundreds of DSO shows, in the aggregate, I have no issue with what their tour schedule offered regarding location. Sometimes the light shines on me, other times…

The temps they go up The temps they go down Do yourself a favor Looks nearly perfect…Dry and about 80 by day and 50’s by night. To me the funny thing is there is so much uncertainty a couple of weeks from the day….but for sure 100 years from now it will be 2.8 degrees C warmer. The scientific term for that would be “poppycock”!

Indy and Huber Heights on radar

The only Phish songs I have listened to in entirety are covers performed by my favorite local/ band JEB. Trey at Dead 50 cemented my disinterest. Saw a great t-shirt there… ”Don’t Trey to suck” I am of the ilk that believe Phish heads had much to do with the deterioration of the GD scene in the 90’s. Have been to dozens of WSP…even got to see Houser several times.

5/4/77 Palladium NYC The bus came by there 46 years ago today I got on Thats when it all began
-
I just do not enjoy jam band genre being whimsical.
-
I also miscomprehended….duh….I am all confused. Didnt see first Palladium Fire but yes for second….the Comes a Time eclipsed it…if that’s even possible in retrospect.
-
It was being played when I first saw Dead early 5/77 but not my first show. Perhaps other show of 4 night palladium run.

3/16/73 Nassau Coliseum RK on drums Filler: Sisters and Brothers Quite the dance party. Band was obviously digging it. Skip had floor ringing as well as his bass during Dark Star providing feedback jovially shoving it in front of his stack. Stellar two nights in Vermont.

Yo are correct, confirmed, just asked Dino, Ratdog tune

Or wait till Rutland as I will attend those 2 shows 😁

Great intersecting with your never ending tour AC. Zanzibar great little venue…paradise if you enjoy some retro pinball with your dancing. Will definitely c u at Jubilee.

Crowds at Dead & Co are there for the spectacle. Those at Wolf Bros are for the music. The strings, horns, and pedal steel does the Jerry parts justice. BTW came after a Bobby story of him and Barlow creating the tune.
-
I was also in attendance and thoroughly enjoyed the music. The horn section adds plenty to the tunes. Haven’t heard Money for Gasoline since Ratdog days. I find Mr. Weir a national treasure. Has any human performed live in front of more other humans than he?
