  7. Yeah - got loose last nite and ended up getting locked outta the house. No spare keys or open windows. I tried to wake up my son but got the wife instead - along with tripping the security camera. She was 91 into dialing 911 until she saw it was me. There was no ā€œIā€™m just disappointedā€ just molten lava. Miss the SOTE gang and all you other knuckleheads
  8. "Thereā€™s no way to measure his greatness or magnitude as a person or as a player. I donā€™t think any eulogizing will do him justice. He was that great, much more than a superb musician, with an uncanny ear and dexterity. Heā€™s the very spirit personified of whatever is Muddy River country at its core and screams up into the spheres. He really had no equal. To me he wasnā€™t only a musician and friend, he was more like a big brother who taught and showed me more than heā€™ll ever know. Thereā€™s a lot of spaces and advances between The Carter Family, Buddy Holly and, say, Ornette Coleman, a lot of universes, but he filled them all without being a member of any school. His playing was moody, awesome, sophisticated, hypnotic and subtle". "Thereā€™s no way to convey the loss. It just digs down really deep." BOB DYLAN - 1995/08/11

Define nothing. HTH from 8/6 is 4/29ā€™s Daddy. They were almost 4 months more refined. 4 months is one year in GD evolution

8/6/71? Yes please! Top Tenner on every list - no matter the day. Legendary recording from an apparent Noob. What? https://archive.org/details/gd71-08-06.aud.bertrando.yerys.129.sbeok.shnf Hard to Handle tops 4/29/71. It actually toys with it before killing it. Sorry Chris great, great, great Cumby. BUT Truckin > Drums > Other One > MAMU > Other One is one of the best segments the GD ever played . Iā€™m 98% partial to all-time Jerry tune segments but this is some of the best stuff there is. Zero hyperbole

That show tried to please just about everyone! Got stubbed into the pavilion halfway through Looks Like Rain. The rest was just a blur of beauty and was šŸ’Æ % convinced they were doing it just for me!

Never been so wet in all my life - everything soaked, crappy tent toast. Blue tarp was my coat and blanket. Itā€™s probably just a coincidence that I was diagnosed with pneumonia when I went home to patch my bones. The things we do for love ā¤ļø

Deer Creek was an excellent venue even if most residents of Noblesville cursed under their collective breaths when the circus came to town. Lazy Acres Campground was really, really, really, really, really fun šŸ˜Ž
