I've rarely seen such a precipitous in-season tailspin than what the Eagles just went through. It was the confluence of a lot of things, I'm guessing. Putting Matt Patricia in charge of the defense will be something Sirianni would like back. Also, it would not surprise me if you find Hurts going under the knife in the offseason to deal with multiple injuries. He just didn't look right as the season wore on. Some of it could also be teams having enough film on Hurts to successfully scheme against his weaknesses. Whatever the reason, it looked to me like a team that had given up on their coach. Winning is the great deodorant - when it's goin good, you can overlook some smoke. When stuff like this happens, players and fans can turn on you quickly. Not sure how you bring Sirianni back. There is a remote possibility that we could we see coaching vacancies in the entirety of the NFC East! Wow! Dallas has to give up on McCarthy. You've seen his best, and it's simply not good enough. Belichik in Big D? As long as Bill doesn't want GM duties, it might just happen. He's at a point now where he just wants to break Don Shula's win record and then ride off into the sunset. I'm not gonna pencil in a win at home for Detroit against Tampa, but it is an awfully good situation for the Lions. If Detroit can make Tampa pay for their jailbreak blitzes, they have a legit shot for the privilege to get smoked by the 49'ers.

I live in a house divided: Dukes v Hellmans. It’s no contest but my opponent is willing to drop the gloves over it. God help us during potato salad season

Sounds like everyone had quite the blast last night! I have no setlist (and probably won't) but the band put some cool photos up on their FaceBook page. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=924582192365568&set=pcb.924586909031763

Thanks, DD! Yeah - I woulda had a similar platitude if it had been ND clinchin the natty (along with the accompanying bile flavor). I love Michigan but Jim Harbaugh is one awkward dood - sooooo cringe when that man speaks. Good recruiter and schemer (pun intended) but I'm ready for a new voice - especially since it might be slim-pickens for U of M in the Big 20 for a couple years.

Michigan is easy to dislike given the dumb scouting/cheating tactics and goofy lookin head coach. Vitriol or not - they get a crack at the CFP belt!

1976/06/17 @ The Capitol Theatre, Passaic, NJ Cold Rain and Snow, Big River, They Love Each Other, Cassidy, Tennessee Jed, Looks Like Rain, Row Jimmy, Music Never Stopped, Scarlet Begonias > Promised Land Help on the Way > Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower, Dancin' in the Streets > Samson and Delilah, Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication, Friend of the Devil, Let it Grow > drums > Let it Grow > Wharf Rat > Around and Around <no original encore> F: Box of Rain that 2nd set is both a dancers paradise and a dancers lament - at the same time. Only Wharf Rat could’ve saved you - maybe FOTD too but debatable if it woulda helped. That Dancin > Samson seems especially cruel

My Lions are reverting to my Daddy's Lions. Can't stop anyone (especially a mobile QB) and giant mistakes at pivotal times in the game. Hey: Dan Campbell -- I appreciate the stones it takes to go for it on 4th in your own end: But for the love of God, dial up some better plays. Teams have tape on the Lions and the coach isn't making any real adjustments that I can see. They are a playoff team (provided they don't go O-fer the rest of the way) but ain't gonna win a game playing like this. We need to be rounding into form and instead, we are in a bit of a freefall. Coach 'em up, DAN!
