E: Ripple Scenic venue, Great weather. A nice bow for the CO shows. I would say any hurt feelings between Jk and the band have mended. All musician appeared to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. 17. 80/06/12 Portland Memorial Coliseum, Portland, OR Alabama Getaway>Promised Land, Peggy-o, El Paso, Brown Eyed Women, Cassidy, Far From Me, Althea, Lost Sailor>Saint of Circumstance>Deal. Drums>Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain, Estimated Prophet>Drums>Space>Not Fade Away> Black Peter>Round and Round>Good Lovin'. E: Johnny B. Goode. Mount Saint Helens erupted during Fire on the Mountain. Several eruptions occurred on this evening, a 2.5 mile plume of ash at 7:05, about the time the band took the stage and at 9:09 a much stronger explosion send ash 10 miles up during the Fire. People reported driving home from the show with ash on their windows. Praise DSO.

  19. 21/06/05 In Dead Nation, Rec Room, Towson, MD Touch of Grey, They Love Each Other, Alabama Getaway, Mama Tried>Big River, West LA, Viola Lee Blues, KC Jones. Half Step, Scarlet Begonias>Fire on the Mountain, Truckin', Goin Down the Road, Watchtower, Not Fade Away, Don't Let Go, US Blues, Tangled Up In Blue. Brooks on keys all night. Bookended the vacation with some local Dead on a beautiful evening in downtown Towson. Called out by the band for missing last two shows, as they conflicted with Frederick and Jubilation. Viola fully worked, the Scarlet>Fire a crowd pleaser. Goin' Down the Road highlight of the night for me, and an well executed Tangled to close. No masks. No pods. Plenty of hugs and smiles. Great friends throughout the crowd. Support local dead. Praise DSO.

  23. Original Recipe. Expressway, Alabama Getaway, Why Don't We Do It In the Road, Corinna, Might As Well, Tom Thumb Blues, Passenger, Althea, Strange Man, Women Are Smarter, Reuben and Cherise. Sugar Magnolia, Touch of Grey, Unbroken Chain, Dear Mr. Fantasy>Cryptical>Drums>Space> Other One>Jam>Cryptical>Mission In the Rain> Sunshine Daydream. E: Quinn the Eskimo. Sunday service delivers. The boundless energy of the elective swept all away on a journey to all states of the human condition. Well played throughout, the combination of song selection and execution intoxicating. Passenger shreds, started out on Fred Astaire, then I soon hit the harder stuff. (a reference to the steps Skip danced in lieu of a functional bass on Sat.), Reuben spot on. From the Fantasy home pure gold, the Other One an absolute monster and had not seen Mission in ages. Great family. Amazing band. Praise DSO.
  24. 77/10/09 McNichols Sports Arena, Denver, CO Minglewood, TLEO, Cassidy, Dire Wolf, Looks Like Rain, Brown Eyed Women, Lazy Lightning>Supplication, Sugaree, Music Never Stopped. Samson, Scarlet>Fire, Estimated Prophet>He's Gone> Truckin'>Drums>Terrapin Station>Round and Round. E: Casey Jones. Great Fun. Scarlet>Fire, yes please. Skip fought through some equipment problems in the second, was he playing a phantom bass? Hoe down grande during the Truckin', the group was feelin' it. Love you all. Praise DSO.
