  2. Awesome weekend. Got to visit with many as we set ourselves up to be a pit stop on the way to stage from VIP. Stayed dry where it counts although we about lost a pop up by opening back up too soon after the storm. 🤣 my favorite sets (besides the 3 DSO shows) were Holly bowling, Greensky/Holly/Donato, Jeff and friends, and Keller grass. Another jubilee in the books. Always my favorite weekend of the year.

  4. Read yesterday that Bill Walton had passed. It musta been September, ‘80, going back for sophomore year of college. My roommate has a copy of Rolling Stone magazine with an article about the Dead and Deadheads. The centerfold is a handful of various Deadheads in their typical attire posing for the camera along with Bill Walton. Roommate is showing me this, points to one kid and tells me that he met him on tour and the kid was telling him about hanging out with Bill Walton and what a cool guy he was. Yea, the tall guy has been part of my Grateful Dead universe since the Big Bang.

  5. prob have seen this but it’s a good 3 minute watch. Whether this happened exactly like he told it may be questionable but it’s a story from years past and details are always fuzzy.

  6. When I asked a taper if he had recorded Holly Bowling's late night he said he did and it would be up soon. Night two sent us off with her keyboard performance sounding like a grand piano intertwining the cryptical and terrapin suites with Althea intricately weaving in and out of the garden of dead and phish songs also including a full treatment of Led Zeppelin's No Quarter. An exemplary ending especially after what DSO had conjured up for their second performance of a perfectly planned trifecta⚡🇱🇷💫
