Once again DSO stakes the claim not to leave at the encore like heads used to do at shows. They nailed that home with Morning Dew on a work night . What a nice cap of shows from Milwaukee to Columbus. Thanks to the band, crew and all the nice people in attendance2 points

The place was packed on a Friday night. Gotta think DSO could pull off 2 shows here. St. Louis is a direct southwest flight from most cities. It’s also a great dead town and the crowd is always good besides the peeps trying to get me to sit so they could see. Sorry bro I’m gonna dance all show. 1st time at Dso I’ve been asked to sit. Many times I’ve been asked to sit at non dead shows but they get the same reply. And once I’m asked to sit, I have no choice but to dance. Bring on security or whatever, I ain’t sitting now. I personally love Dso doing late 80s and 90s more than any other era. Maybe I like the darker dead jams or the shredded distortion. It’s my fav. It’s like if the dead was ar their peak in 1991 when Dso plays it. When I see the setup that’s Brent or later i get all giddy. Fantastic show. Any show that starts help slip Frank is ok in my book.2 points

He’s like dead on 80’s Jerry. He has that whimsical twangy Jerry down. That seems like a horrible explanation but like Jerry’s playing on Althea. It’s sort of a whimsical style and Zach has that perfected. I haven’t seen him since before dso in Colorado prob 6-8yrs ago with Melvin but my thoughts at the time were that he was dead on the sound of 80’s Jerry.2 points

Yeah, great finish. didn't realize about nugs until i saw the video equipment. Place was packed because they didn't open the balcony for us regular folk but I was able to maneuver into a good spot by the soundboard for the 2nd set.2 points

On that same subject, if you want to knowingly do fentanyl that's your prerogative. I won't judge you for it. We all have are trials and crosses to bare. I have meant opiate and fentanyl users whose behavior really blows my mind. They openly talk about the high you get from coming back from an overdose like it's something they seek. If you knowingly give someone fentanyl without telling them, you are scum. You are a criminal. You deserve some serious criminal charges. And trust me I'm as anti police state prison system and the us criminal Justice system as they come. I'd also take you outside and beat you half to death cause that's basically attempted murder shit. if you can handle your shit, and knowingly ingest fentanyl then fall out at the show to the point where you get the show shut down. You're an idiot. Don't get that fucked in public. I feel that way about people that get fall down drunk and puke on the dance floor too but I've probably been that idiot a few times never puked on the floor though. But seriously if you need to get that fucked up stay home tonight. Fentanyl is not LSD you are not a prankster but tricking people into ingesting it. You are not a prankster. Your piece of shit. Sorry I feel pretty strongly on that subject.1 point

Have a blast 💥 Should be a great one! Public Service Announcement: If a stranger invites you to take a pull from their vape, politely decline. Fentanyl is evil and it’s everywhere. Better safe than sorry… Ring . That . Bell 🛎️1 point

This will be our first time going to Penn's Peak (and Jim Thorpe in general). I've heard so much great stuff about the venue and the DSO Thanksgiving shows that I'm bursting with excitement. The only time I've seen DSO was two nights at Bear's Picnic this summer. I'm so ready to dance like a freak and shake my bones. I'll be in a cowboy shirt. Say hi. Buy me a beer :)1 point

It was the 45th anniversary of this show originally played a block away from the Riviera. Unfortunately someone told me that 45yrs ago the dead played uptown right over there so I knew it had to be the show. I knew no songs to be played but taking away the deduction I enjoy was a bit of a let down. When I saw Jeff’s white TB-500 on the stage that made it a lock. As always DSO rocked it. It’s almost hard to review shows for me now just like it is to pick a favorite song. We had drinks post show at the uptown pub and they had dead playing. An employee comes over and asks us what song we want to hear. I’m like this show playing is fine. She’s like but what song is your favorite that you really want to hear now. I said I don’t really have a fav dead song or one I need to hear. This show you have playing is perfect. I think she was sorta confused by that. I have 80 fav songs and each one can get me going. If she said which song don’t you want to hear this second, I could maybe give an opinion. I think non deadheads have a tough time wrapping their heads around the fact that we can just play a show and accept what songs come next vs having a greatest hit that everyone needs to hear. At van morrison at the end he said I guess we have to play brown eyed girl. He wasn’t thrilled to be forced into that and everyone got up to dance/sing but he wanted to avoid a riot….1 point

Thoroughly appreciated that stream,,Thanks again Tea, for the tip-off about that a few days back. Fantastic show,,tore it up dancing all of second set in the living room,, Noting there was a pretty clear Tomorrow Never Knows (?) instrumental jam coming out of space after drums before the drop into Mr Fantasy. Thought we might get dosed with Hey Jude after that but clearly they had a lot of other material to get chomping on… huge thanks for that stream!1 point

Tangled up in Dew! Believe It Or Not in the "pre-St. Stephen Reprise ballad slot" is an awesome twist. Also cool to see both Hard to Handle and Box of Rain after the presumably (or at least very possibly) set ending Let It Grow1 point
