Joseph was exceptional in seeing ALL the shows. One year he was bragging that he saw more shows than the two drummers. ( Both Dino and Rob had been out a couple days for special reasons). But what I really don’t understand is how for three years in a row he managed to get the only parking spot directly in front of Variety Playhouse. And it wasn’t that he just got there early. “Sometimes you need to accept you're old and in the way.“ Sometimes I might be in the way but I'm not accepting that I'm old. Peace and Love, Doc

You get a whole dark side of the moon sandwich in the middle of dead songs on either side. Seems like a no brainer.

There is a tour going round called “Live Dead ‘69” Not sure who is involved but it falls on a day I’ve already scheduled off so I plan on Checking it out. They are playing the same venue DSO plays when they come to Louisville. I looked it it up and it’s Tom Constanten, Mark Karan, Robin Sylvester, Slick Aguilar (Starship) and JGBs drummer and jay lane are splitting drum duties. Not sure if this is still the lineup but it was when the tour started in ‘17

I never thought it was an outshining subject but I know the glory days may be over. I’ll take my 30 to 40 this year. Having been to so many shows I kind of know what venues I want to hit now anyway. Help me prioritize a little bit. Its Scotty time to shine. Sometimes you need to accept you old and in the way.

Yes - couple times. Cosmic Charlie has been playing really well over the last year or so. I caught this show a couple weeks ago and it was straight fire - really good time. Yeah - that was a little rough although Jerry would have a good swing south and a refreshing summer and fall. The silver lining of the cancelled show the night before was I randomly met Bobby + Phil (only time) and one epic party at the Holiday Inn - crazy times!
