Well I just talked the misses into a road trip to Montclair!!!
that will complete my 2018 goal of seeing all 4 shows
my legs were cramping up a bit last night but I pushed through
this maybe my first seated show
I wish all of you a happy new year
just need two miracles at the door!
I wouldn't be surprised if Izaacb's dream comes true but however it all goes down...y'all enjoy bending time and space while ringing in the new year with the finest band in the land...
Hippy New Year to all!

I was thinking the same - quite a few repeats between 12/30 and 12/31/78. The dream (for me) would be a 3 set elective in the style of early 70s or late 60s, but I'm sure whatever Eaton and the rest of the band has planned out will be incredible!
We got a Jack a roe and a Birdsong last night. Lots if trippy space through out all the sets. I think jubilee going to be pinnacle. A Billy goat was in the audience the first night. Mostly riding on the shoulders of it's keeper. Staff is allowing everyone to be free,
Here comes 2019!
What a killer show: monster sets and tons of songs! Highlights were: pretty much everything! Scarlet > Fire, Playin' > Shakedown, Ollin Arrageed, St. Stephen, and NFA were exceptionally notable (thought I heard some hints of the Darkness Jam in NFA). Everything rocked!
2nd set was fantastic. Finally got myself moving and grooving at top speed. Had been awhile.
Love you guys. Enjoy the last two Iβm sure things just getting started for those doing the whole New Years run.
Happy New Year to all,
especially the large group
of friends I have met this
year. Our band certainly
brings together some of
the best people on this
earth. Dance, spin and
twirl for me in Montclair
tonite.
Praise DSO.
Travis Bean is on the stage! Setlist to come later.

Yes and thanks for asking.
So glad I picked Friday. They were just so amazing. The setlist was right up my alley. And the dance space was plentiful. What a night. I have so much more to say about the playing.
It is so cathartic to shake dem bones sometimes. Much needed and still in the afterglow.
Praise DSO and Happy New Year.
At the end When Barraco announced it was an elective and said βthis wasnβt a set the dead played , (pause) but iβ bet they wish they hadβ . He was right
it was a pleasant show
Did they run the train almost off the cliff during Viola? Sometimes I think they consider wrecking it because tomorrow there is another train to drive and it will be built just as good, if not better. So much fun to do that again and again. π
I listened to Shrine 1967 Alligator last night on LP. I had to leave the room and when I returned it was only halfway through - imagine how satisfying that is after getting a 7th grader engaged on Nintendo switch belonging to a Jr in HS. Heavy negotiation. We also listened to Axoamaoxa. Good times. Later tuned into the show courtesy Chinacat. That was fun.
I know that Russian Lullaby made you bliss out π ππΌππΌ
