  1. Fun fact. Today is the 4th anniversary of the gf’s 1st Dso show. Don’t think she danced a lick in set 1 of that show. Almost perfectly still just watching thw Band. You would never know that was the same person. Logging around 100 dead related shows is like hanging at the Jim Jones compound for a while. It will change you. And both groups drank the koolaid.

  2. Our hotel is full of EDM peeps. Thought some were deadheads and asked if they were seeing Dso. They said no, bassnectar. Hundreds checking in. It’s a weird crowd in a different way than I’m used to.

  6. 12/28/87 Oakland Coliseum, Oakland, CA Feel Like A>Franklin's, Minglewood, Row Jimmy, Far From Me, Masterpiece, Sugaree>Hell In a Bucket China>Rider, Cumberland, Women>D>S>Wheel, Truckin'> Smokestack>Black Pete>Sugar Mags>Sunshine. E: Black Muddy River. IMO, the best show of the 87 NYE run. These were my first west coast shows, and this one was a mindblower. First set inverted opener closer, the only time a saw Bucket as a set closer, it worked well there. The China>Rider, Cumberland sequence off the hook and the post drums was dreamy, including one of two Smokestack for these eyes. We were skipping back to the Comfort Inn for partying that night, with a day off and two more shows to go. After the shows, me and my friend Pete stayed at my dad's company condo at Keystone for five days of skiing. Some winter break, ah memories. Praise DSO.

  8. Seas have parted and I will attend tonight's show. Any intel on the parking situation at the venue? Haven't been to E-fact in a few years and remember there was a venue lot, but it was full by the time I got there. Where's the forum dance party happening inside? Would love to see any and all I'll be rockin the O's cap and seeking Julie Andrews space. Praise DSO.

  9. Last conversation I had at fall tour closer was that they are fashionably late, just a few minutes. Isn’t Lisa’s birthday right around now?

  10. Yea, it’s pouring it’s ass off over here.(but not a drop on me!) be careful, safe travels. Rain is ‘predicted’ to stop in time for lot scene to start. I’m feeling an Eighties show and praying for a ‘masters’ Bouquet’ filler. Is that too much to dream?
