Sing me back home had to be scrapped after Miracle
I saw Ghost Light- Tom Hamilton band with Holly Bowling et al at the small theater Visulite in Charlotte with about 300. The show first set was all originals. 4/5 I enjoyed. The songs take on the architecture of JRAD song flow with rockin periods moving into spacey thoughtful spaces. I believe one was completely improv.- at least the entrance it seemed. The slide guitar played reminded me of “Wicked Games” . Another reminded me of Radiolarians 2 MMW which gets two thumbs up from me. It was fun to see what Tom H do his own thing and definitely took you into those jam band places spaces with ease. It was a fun excursion if you get the chance.
There’s never too much Chuck Berry, Hoosh. 😃
And I sure can think of something that could get clipped before the Sing Me Back Home. I’m looking at you, I Need a Miracle.
Great show!! The Althea was spectacular and SMR was spot on. The jam in Rubin reminded me of exactly why I love DSO. However, I feel like the awesomeness of the first set was downgraded with Rudolph. That song did not fit at alll...
The second set Touch was apropos for the thread here and seemed right for a number of folks in the crowd. The Imagine jam with the crowd singing along was goose bump inducing and a great intro to CC into Miracle. The jam in Terrapin was a grand continuation of the first set jams.
I feel like they were as solid last night as I’ve ever seen them. Well worth the price of admission!
i was told that the show was sold out. Can anyone verify this?
30 seconds of Imagine...

I loved the Terrapin Jam into drums - they seemed to tease Cumberland and then almost had a Feel like a stranger reprise.
The Imagine jam was just awesome.
Miracle was very high energy.
But the Other one was face melting! they really killed it.
As good or better as I've ever seen them.
Rainy day women was a hoot for the crowd.

Hey Hoosh - your video didn't play for me.
The band had to scrap it presumably due to time constraints. Their 'planned' setlist originally included it.
Interesting to see Watchtower, Women, and Wheel in the 1st stanza.....
